Perhaps it's a little early to raise this but, assuming the new stadium is NOT named Griffin Park, what should the "GPG" become ?

Or, perhaps, it should remain as the "GPG" as a permanent memory to our wonderful home ?

I think this has been covered elsewhere, but I don't see the problem with it staying the same.

Can you imagine the situation in say 4 to 5 years when we are in our new stadium and have acquired say 5,000 new fans and we'll have to explain to some of them that Brentford used to play at a place called Griffin Park!!

What a surreal experience that will be!!!

Nothin wrong with keeping the name Griffin Park. After all, most religions seem to be named after mystical characters from the distant past.;)

....mabye not to everyones taste.....but i'd settle for New Griffin Park......we could always lose the 'new' bit in time.

Whats wrong with leaving it as GPG ?

There are lots of places that have names that no longer have relevance. Ie Staples Corner is nothing to do with a stationary store but the mattress factory that used to be on the North Circ /M1/A5 junction

One other thing whilst we are here please. I posted a new thread in chit chat thus morning and not there anymore. Any reason why ?
It was to do with things that used to get on your goat, that don't matter so much now.

Thanks Banana, that worked although not quite sure why as everything looked published. I just wanted to freshen things up a bit and add the BFC Twitter. Let me know if not to your (or anyone else's likening).

For those of us who don't like change, can I get rid of the twitter feed "enhancement" and go back to just the GPG please? Is there an option I can select to opt out of the twitter feed on my GPG?

You'll see an image on the right side that are two large blue chevrons >>. Clicking on that hides the sidebar.
