According to the OS, Stripes is now called "The Hive".

The Hive

Errr. Hive of activity and (and this is not the pun bit) being the centre of our corporate/hospitality lots of dosh being made

I get it :) :fishing:

The Hive

Used it for the Yeovil match. I asked to see the wine list and was told " no list, we have that white and those two reds up on that shelf". I chose one of the reds, the waitress disappeared into the stockroom for 5 minutes and came back with the other one........."sorry, couldn't find the one you chose, will this one be OK?" As it was sub zero temperature having been in the cold stockroom, I went for the white instead. The chairman of GlaxoSmithKline was not over impressed........it's Brentford innit?

Too true (apart from the GSK chairman, but it would have been all the same if he was there wouldn't it)

In the next installment of you couldn't make it up.

Jean Pierre was on the door of our new super dooper supporters bar (the one for the fans not the suits) and stopped one person taking his bottle out of the door, the fellow wanted to smoke a ciggarette right outside the door with others but wasn't allowed, THEN two lads who had just purchased bottles from the bar in the forecourt were not allowed IN with them.

Work that one out please!!??

I blame Frampton cos the bloke on the door looked very much like him......well, he had two eyes, a nose and a couple of ears - Think he also had a mouth although he was talking out of his arse at the time so cant gaurentee that.

Looked at the advert on the o/s. I don't have an interest in going to corporate hospitality and eating prawn sandwiches, but being a student ST holder, my match ticket is worth £8 then I just have to pay £30 to upgrade...surely (£38) is too cheap for a 3 course meal, premium seating, half time refreshments etc. What is the demand? Surely they can charge more...
