This is the offering from the Standard on their preview of tomorrows game. If any of you know Brentford well you will know that this pub is boarded up and shut (and has been for a few months) at the moment due to being in the middle of the builders yard for the firms working on Kew Bridge.

Typical of that paper's hop scotch approach to any footy outside of the Premiership !

Another Brentford pub makes way for redevelopment. More poxy luxury riverside appartments. Booo.

Mary O'Reardons(sp) is no more

You can still go to her husbands pub at the other end Brentford though for a decent pint of guinness

Must admit is was a bit quite when I was last there! Has the building on brentford docks started yet? Thought she could have stayed open for the accomadation for the workers

the regeneration of brentford is on hold at the moment due to intereted parties(i.e residence)not being able to agree on the plans. I imagine it will drag on for ages.

IE - Ealing rd roof, new stadium etc
