How comes is it that tickets are not for re-sale, you can't buy them from sites like e-bay nor sell them but you walk down the high street and Thomas Cook have any ticket for any event including Mens 100 Metre Final for £3,000?

I asked Thomas Cook and they said that the ticket was face value at £500 and it was £2,500for the meal and hotel for the night c***'s.

I've got four closing ceromony tickets - any one want them for £4k?

Locog put a markup limit of 10% on tickets. Thomas Cook and their buddies just bundled the tickets with hotel rooms and charged 10 times the normal rate for the rooms, hence they are scraming "Sale" and dropping prices. I suspect that there will be many tickets ending up in booths, come July.
