Bournemouth fans didn't like TF tapping his watch.

Maybe if they weren't time wasting from the first minute, he wouldn't have to do it.

Thomas Frank

My all time favourite Brentford manager.

I loved the Perryman era and how but i agree TF is my fav Brentford manager. For the success he has had over the last two years and considering the stick/ abuse he has endured he is my fav. For a manager to take us in consecutive seasons to a game away from the promise land is one hell of an achievement. I hope he is enjoying his red tonight. He deserves it.

Thomas Frank

He was wise to the fact that the crowd would have a massive impact on the game and geed us up in his pre match interviews and his lap round the ground.
I was stunned by that Bournemouth goal but even more surprising was how quick the fans woke from our stupor. We lifted the team and they were immediately on it.
Today illustrated what makes football so enjoyably daft, unpredictable and addictive. Devastatingly heart wrenching at times but beautifully euphoric at its best. Few things match the catharsis of football, it's unrelenting ability to draw us back in for another hit.
Other fans can say what they like about Thomas but he fully understands what football means to people especially in these difficult trying times and he knew in calling us out to give our best support was just as vital as any player on that pitch.
I'm proud and delighted for him today. He deserved that.

Def best manager since I've been going, hands down. So bizarre that some on social media still have Frank Out going on... Got it absolutely bang on today. Sure we'll be practising defending from our own corner though!!

Thomas Frank

.Where did he go to at the end of the game? Didnt see him go around the pitch with the team.

He was there, he did it a little behind the team, was slapping hands with the front row all down the north stand and saying "one more to go"

Ah must of missed him then. We were in the North.

Love this man. Perfect fit for our club.

Has there been any comments on the reason for the defensive f**k up for their goal yesterday?
Was it ‘simply’ caused by the late withdrawal of Norgaard, and confusion over who should be our last man at corners?

Dunno but they continued to do it !

Him walking the pitch perimeter today to get the crowd going was absolutely bloody brilliant

agree......he even came over to shake my hand after and i congratulated him on taking some of my critisisms on board and he even thanked me for airing them on here and pointing him in the right direction ;) ........we are now firmly bestest of friends and will be 'getting a room' if we win next sat......ive told him no travelodge though ;) lol

great scenes before and after and his 'joey jones of cfc circa 1981' running round the pitch before the game will long live in the memory......great work danish fella :)

Got a text from him last night "Have you got the phone number of VftB as I'd like to take his advice for this coming Saturday". Had to reply "no, sorry!"

Interestingly Emiliano, who hasnt started for weeks, 'earned' the penalty
Bryan who hasnt generally started recently caused the red card
Yanelt, who probably wouldnt have started if Norgaard hadnt been injured scored the 2nd
and the 3rd was set up by Emiliano (see above) and scored by the sub (who has been starting) Forss

That's either inpsired team management or raises a question as to why did he wait till yestersday to make those decisions. You payes your money you take your choice.

What I will say is that he got the timing of his subs right, I do sometimes feel hemakes them too late

I think it more indicates the overall coaching and team bonding – a completely aligned focus and tactical understanding no matter who plays or what role they play.

I think Roeslev came in when CN injured.

Reminded me of the cup game a few years ago vs Swansea and Daniel James breakaway goal

Similar, but at lleast James had to beat 2 or 3 Bees players using his pace for that one…….

Yep. Rico should have been covering

Yes ?thought the same when he done that was actually at a few games at the bridge when joey Jones used to do that waving his fist in the air.

Did anyone else notice that after their goal, when we got our next corner, Pontus was clearly unsure (reluctant?) to go forward again, looking towards the dugout for instructions, meaning they had to wave him forward?

Must say I was bricking it for fear of a repeat.

Thomas Frank

Yes, wtf indeed ? Reminded me of that goal Utd conceded in Europe a couple of months ago, everyone was asking why wasn’t Solksjaer screaming at his players to get back (as he was on the half way line at the corner). Same could be asked of Thomas for this game.
Either way, the Forss sub was perfect, one more game and the man is a Brentford legend.
We got caught at Swansea by Daniel James in a similar fashion when he was at Swansea.

Thomas Frank

What I loved about TF on Saturday is that he really went for it with his subs. Brought Forss on at HT and what took Vitaly off 15 mins after his goal and brought on Ghoddos. Even without Norgaard, Rico and JDS on Saturday we had real options on Saturday and this Saturday it may be a case of whom has the better bench. I am positive that TF will be bold again in his substitutions on Saturday. No regrets.

Thomas Frank

Best and most successful manager of the modern era. Got so much right this season. Doesn't shirk from making the tough decisions and learns from his mistakes. All those Frank Out tossers can just f off!!
Changing from 433 to 352 saved the season. Second leg vs Muff and the final, he got it spot on. So impressed.
