I'm sure he could be a top top pundit.

I really enjoyed the banter between Dixon and McCoist yesterday as well as the robust opinions of Keane, Souness and Wright. It was like being in the pub with some exceptionally knowledgeable fans. The ITV trio of Keane, Souness and Ian Wright were so mush more watchable last night that the BBC team. Lineker has become boring and I think Micah Richards has been inhaling laughing gas before the show begins.

Sam Matterface on the other hand is an idiot...
Agree with pretty much all of that, except to say that the excitable Wright resembles too much of a fan sometimes and just knocks our too many cliches. At least he says what he thinks without worrying about upsetting people, though. I also like that ITV make an effort to have their pundits look smart. If they could use a better commentator, it would be pretty much perfect. The ITV trio of Keane, Souness and Ian Wright were so mush more watchable last night that the BBC team. McCoist has the same problem as Hinchcliffe he always says what they should have done, players make mistakes.Yes, McCoist and Dixon were good. Always like Ally McCoist.
Same here and will go as far to say often turn down or mute the commentary. I can see for myself what's going and don't have a commentary when I'm at a game.I rarely listen to pundits. I invariably don’t switch the tv on until about a minute before kickoff, leave the room at half-time and switch off at the final whistle. I might make the odd exception for some PL games next season!
Brentford in the Premier League a much more important job. Being a national coach is one he can do when he is winding down.My worry is losing TF to the Danish national side
I agree but to manage a national side is once in a lifetime, would he turn it down if they came knocking in say a years time?Brentford in the Premier League a much more important job. Being a national coach is one he can do when he is winding down.
What, with a Champions League campaign ahead?I agree but to manage a national side is once in a lifetime, would he turn it down if they came knocking in say a years time?
The Schleswig-Holstein question! Oh no!Must remember that he is Danish, and Danes are generally a very nationalistic, and traditional country, possibly because of the small size. The national flags come out on numerous occasions, and even the buses have a slot at the front, on the roof to fly the flag on certain occasions. If offered, he might find it difficult to turn down, but who knows?
I was on a train back home about 8 weeks ago on a Saturday evening and Ally was sat in first and we had the carriage to ourselves. I didn’t want to pester him but spoke just before I got off at York. He loves the bees, often doing commentary on our games on sky with Jeff Stelling. Told me he really hoped the bees got promoted and thinks we will be fine in the PL. Really nice guy, just as you see on TV.Yes, McCoist and Dixon were good. Always like Ally McCoist.
Late call up for Saturday.......??.......A bit surprised that TF hasn't been picked up by either the Beeb or ITV as a Euros 2020 pundit.....
Intelligent manager of a forward thinking PL club, with enormous tactical insight.......aaah, maybe that's it....... ?
Or perhaps he was asked and just wanted a break.
The better Denmark do in the Euros the less the chance of him being asked (atm)My worry is losing TF to the Danish national side

Bar, Harry Curtis?Still cant believe the job he has carried out here. Best BFC manager of all time.
Since that poor run or games at the start of his tenure things have only got better and better.
No, Michael Laudrup, Swansea manager. Is TF the first ever Danish PL manager ?
Txs Les. Not bad shoes to fill !No, Michael Laudrup, Swansea manager.
.......unless the current Danish Manager is enticed away on the strength of Denmarks performance. The better Denmark do in the Euros the less the chance of him being asked (atm)
Yes, it's appeared dozens of times.Apologies if this has appeared elsewhere on this forum, but there's a longish profile of TF below, from his earliest days coaching youths in Denmark, right through to June 2020 at GP:
Thomas Frank: The Unknown Danish Manager taking Brentford to New Heights
The circumstances which forced him to resign from Brondby were disgraceful - no doubt he appreciates what he's got at BFC all the more:
"The following season brought much of the same with another fourth-place finish, but ownership was restless and despite the consistent performances, Owner Jan Bech Andersen felt his performance as a manager was not good enough at all.
However, any respecting Chairman would criticize their employer face-to-face, but this was not Andersen’s way with Thomas Frank. Frank was criticized publicly for years via social media with Andersen using a pseudonym to pass his judgements.
Of course, Frank resigned holding his pride over a job well done at the club. A club in desperate need of help upon his arrival."
For anyone missing their fix
... if you're watching Danish TV!Would imagine we'll be hearing a bit from TF over the next few days.......
Is he any good?Great video of Thomas doing keepie uppie on Brentford's Insta stories yesterday as the players returned to training!
