Three Walks Challenge

I am walking the Brighton to Brentford walk, so attempting a trilogy of Brentford walks (ie, Brentford to Wycombe, Brentford to Hartlepool and now maybe the hardest, Brighton to Brentford, over 24 hours this weekend).
I agreed to do this walk as a mark of respect to the walkers in 1967 and to acknowledge all Brentford supporters everywhere- you are what makes our club great, heaven knows little else does!!

I am very unclear what revenues are being raised by this walk, (does anyone know???) but I would like to try to raise some revenues myself if only for my own peace of mine.

If I could raise £200 for this walk I would consider the pain worthwhile. For those who know me, those who don't, and especially the majority who relish me dying in a ditch somewhere outside Redhill please sponsor me on this thread or PM me an amount.

I appreciate that you long suffering fans are asked to dig deep once again, and thank you in advance for your support.

Thanks to everybody who supported me on the walk. I am sorry to not finish, but I walked myself to a standstill and could not, nor can hardly now, walk a step. My hat goes off to all the walkers, finishers or not- that was a truly punishing event.

I think it is probably about time I embraced middle age properly, so this will be my last walk for Brentford, although I will, ofcourse, support any further endeavour 100% so expect to see me at future events helping John Anderson, a true Brentford Legend, in making sure others go that little bit further.

Once again thanks for your support, and my deepest respect to Claire for doing the whole walk.

Rod knowing you from previous walks do not apologise, you have done more than your fair share. I'm sorry I was not there to help, i have to be realistic I would have no chance in my present situation. I somehow knew Claire would do it. and a special well done to my old mate Terry Good. Tel be proud mate, a fantastic achievement.
