Does anybody know how you can check the breakdown of your Ticket Access Points total (for example, if you wanted to validate that a particular match(es) had been correctly included)?

Mate, you must be on 1,376,132 TAPS so chillax, you won't have problem getting a ticket for RaRa's at home lol
On a serious note don't think there is a way to consolidate, all a matter of trust, but the club are bang up to date with their data so wouldn't panic

They have missed games that I have attended.
I sent an email asking which games I have missed and never received an answer.
My 11.y.o has an impressive 1,990 points.
There used to be a list of points, but I have not seen one for this season.

They need to make TAP's relevant if you're not a ST holder... I still don't get why tickets open to all members at the same time regardless if you have 2k points or if you joined on Thursday. Given there is no difference what is my incentive to care about them?

As far as I remember from last year, once it goes past the all ST holders mark it's open to all members, so if not an ST holder then TAPs are irrelevant. Pretty annoying actually as you don't really get any perk for having been a previous ST holder or attending a lot of away games in the past.
ie It goes ST + X points, then all ST, then all members.

I can't see the point in TAPs. Few games sell out. Those that are likely to, (rightly) give priority to ST holders and usually allow them to buy extras for friends (which I'm less keen on- not sure why a ST holder can bring any old random along, while someone who goes to a fair number of games goes further back in the queue). Past that, hardly anyone has a chance anyway for a game like Arsenal away last season. Other than for QPR, Fulham (and other London clubs if we go up) tickets should just go straight on open sale for all who have purchasing history. Save on administering a membership scheme and TAP database. If we're getting to the point of selling out Lionel Road on a regular basis maybe there's a point but after the first season's novelty, are we really going to sell out our allocation at Burnley?

It all depends on perceived demand and availability as to whether the club use TAPS or not. This is from the customer charter :

I think the problem with that is that 1-4 is:
1. Season Ticket Holders
2. Club Members
3. Previous Purchasers
4. General Sale (at the discretion of the Club)
So I guess the club feels it can only honour this if TAPs are used within those tiers to provide an additional layer as otherwise ST Holders with x TAP would be potentially behind Members with x+1 TAP.
Arguably TAP should be the primary means of any allocation since higher TAP is likely to include STs anyway and someone who has been a regular for years and amassed a large TAP should not go behind a new fan with a ST just because they do not buy a ST in a particular season. It probably made more sense when the charter was drawn up (since TAPs had not had time to sort people out properly) but should possibly be looked at again - IMHO.
Maybe offer a small number of TAP for (early) membership each year in the same way bonus TAP have been offered for buying STs.

I'm fine with season ticket holders having priority over long term members, that's one of the perks of the season ticket. But new members shouldn't have the same access as someone who was a ST holder for the previous 5 years but couldn't renew this year say, or who has built up 2k TAP points. It should (or could) be:
Season Ticket Holders with X Points and above
Season Ticket Holders with Y Points and above
All Season Ticket Holders.
Members with X Points and Above
Members with Y Points and Above
All Members
General Sale.

Mind you if we had a decent ticketing system then everyone would be able to put in their request for tickets and then 72 hours before the machine decides who gets them (or something like that)

Whenever they've used them for allocations, members have never been differentiated by TAPs, only ST holders. So for members, TAPs have been meaningless (so far).

Not really, it's only adding an additional TAP requirement for members, everything else would be exactly the same. If they divide ST holders by TAP then it would be the exact same step to do that for members.
It doesn't need to delay the process by days either. They could do 'Members with X points' at 9am and 'All members' at 2pm for instance. Just to give that window to members who have built up a lot of points.

But how many steps do you want. Too many and it's "we can't sell out the QPR away end"....
I'm of the school that having higher TAPs doesn't necessarily entitle you to a "better" ticket away. So let's just sell 3,000 to the top 3,000 on the list and then deal with the leftovers.

It's only one additional step...a window (even a few hours) for longer term members to get tickets before it goes on sale to those who have just joined.
A member who was a season ticket holder for the past 5 years should have some benefits over someone who became one on Thursday, currently there isn't as TAP's aren't used.

With all this and talk of the next set of seat release, how do those who don’t have email addresses or a computer go on . I know of a at least one m and I have to contact one of his son’s who’s a Bees fan so as to make him aware of things going on
