Ticket Refunds

Apologies if a thread dulplication. I see there was a previous discussion on this but now closed.
What is the state of play regarding ticket refunds for WBA onwards?
I have received WBA and Charlton reimbursements but still waiting for the rest.
Have they been paid?
Happy to forego if a few hundred extra quid persuades Ollie to stay :)

Ticket Refunds

I don't know the full status, but one of the reasons the club gave me for the use of Eventbrite for the GP tours was that the Box office team and Secutix were too busy working through refunds.

Don't they just click the "Event Cancelled, Refund All Tickets" button?

Here’s my experience:

BFC initially said in June that refunds would be processed by the end of July. Seemed a bit of a way off at the time but was happy to give them the benefit of the doubt due to COVID.

It gets to the middle of August and have heard nothing. Not ideal. Don’t set a deadline if you’re not able to achieve it, especially during these difficult times when money is very important to people.

Suddenly I am now getting called pretty much every other day by ticketing staff asking me to reconfirm bank details and the refund amount. They seem to take the information, write it down, and then throw it in the bin and have to ask for it again a couple days later.

They’re now quoting approximately 14 days for the refund to be processed, which would take us into September. Not great really.

Another thing to note: I raised with them the issue of refunds going out to STHs that paid monthly via Premium Credit (my wife is one of these) and it seems as though they’d not planned for this at all, they’re now using the ‘technical issue’ line for this and have told me the refund will eventually be processed but they have no idea when. Said they cant confirm via email when it’s processed either, which I don’t really understand, but I just have to call back in a month if the funds haven’t been received.

sh*tshow if you ask me.

A ticketing/account system that can easily and automatically issue refunds to customers is surely vital and other clubs surely must have something like this in place?

Ticket Refunds

Still waiting on Season ticket refund.
£99 Something.
Not in a position to write it off.

Have had refund for all tickets

Ticket Refunds

My Barnsley ticket was automatically refunded, pretty much during the match. I hadn't communicated with the club either way as to what I wanted to happen with the ticket, I assumed they'd keep the money as I hadn't asked for a refund but apparently not.

Check with the ticket office as the card refund might not have worked. They are pretty good in getting back to you and will refund via bank transfer instead.

Ticket Refunds

So some but not all have received refunds?
If it's no longer an ongoing process then presumably an email to the ticket office from those still out of pocket is justified.

I already sent a polite email last week (in response to the clubs email saying refund had been processed). The next day I recieved two phone calls confirming my card details and the members of staff saying that they would pass it to the accounts department. I still not revieved the funds, although will give it to the end of this week before chasing them again.

Ticket Refunds

I didn’t know I was due a refund, I thought we got free ifollow instead.

I have had no contact regarding anything other than Fulham away which I received

This is for individually purchased home matches.

Ticket Refunds

Got mine for the extra WBA tickets I purchased for family. Credited to my card on 29th July.

Don’t really understand how some had refunds processed automatically / any issues sorted out after one phone call and yet with others they can **** it up so badly...

They've now refunded me the wrong amount.

sh*tshow is correct. How can we be so good on the field, recruitment etc but so piss poor when it comes to things like this.

Still waiting on mine too. Was told it would be done by end of July. Nothing.

I called the ticket office to find out if they had processed it yet but I was informed they had nothing on the system indicating I opted for a refund. So they said they would process it for me.

Then I got an email on the 11th of August saying it will be processed today but again nothing, so I emailed to find out and was asked to call up the TO to confirm my bank details.

I then got another email to say the refunded had been processed and that I was due x amount back but that figure is wrong.

Called them again this morning and was told to wait another 3/5 working days as they were being processed today by the accounts department.

Not sure if this is the right thread but has there been any news on how the new season games will pan out in terms of season tickets, behind-closed-doors, iFollow and refunds etc. I imagine there hasn't been anything yet and I appreciate it feels like last season only just ended but the new season will be upon us before we know it. In fact, the Wycombe game is two weeks on Saturday and I'm assuming most of us will want to watch the first ever game at the new stadium even if just on iFollow or equivalent.
