Agree with that Jon is one that seems to get on things, at least he does not abuse his position. Well done Jon a few more like you and things will start improving.

Brilliant work by all concerned. I witnessed a group of 14 to 16 year olds being told by a member of BFC staff that 'now they were identified, there was no way he could allow them entry into the ground.'

Serves them right.

is this legal.

a) Of course it is, football clubs can charge what they like Saturday's prices ARE face value.

b) Because for every game that is made all-ticket, we would miss out financially.

Outside New Road as well although ticket was purchased for a tenner by a New Roader so hopefully will be traced :sorted:

The New Roader showed me the ticket and sure enough, there was a ST holder's name on it! Would not like to be in his shoes!

Presumably if it had a ST holder's name on it, the ticket must already have been paid for. Presumably the holder either didn't want to use it yesterday or maybe he'd agreed to sit with his mates elsewhere for this game and so had got another ticket for the game. Not wanting to lose out completely maybe he's off loaded his ST and taken the best price he could get for it. Sounds like fair play to the fellah!
Sounds very different to the dodgy dealing in complimentaries that has been going on recently.

Said ticket, and it was an individual one not a season ticket, was handed into the office after the game.

I hope whoever has their name on it will be suitably punished.

Er sorry but i'm confused, as a S/T holder I purchased 3 tickets for Saturday's game for non S/T holders when the game was designated all ticket. All of those tickets had my name printed on them, all of these tickets were passed on to their intended recipients in the pub before the game at face value. Had any of those people decided to sell on their tickets on the way to the ground who would have been held to account? and what laws would have been broken and by who?

You both would - I think handing them over in public still counts as touting - even if they are your friends. Ask :banana: to clear this up! :sorted:

I have no problem with tickets being sold on that have been purchased at full price thru the correct channels - It's the comps being sold that causes the harm
