Today's Singing

I must admit boys and girls, that I was most disappointed with the Bees singing before and during the first half.

I was in the Upper School End (Y2 Block) and tried on a number of occasions to get the crowd singing.

Is it the old woodwork supporters have come out for the big games ? or we were all pissed from last night ?!

Come on everyone.......YOU REDS!!!

I don't know which game you were at, but I thought the support was superb.

I couldn't hear Rangers!

agree with Micketts 501 that I never heard the home 'fans' at all!

I was in Y5 and thought the support great.

But what about thos riot police at the end - did the pooper scoopers have to be escorted back to the Scrubs??

I was in the lower tier, right of the goal and I thought we were quiet. Me and my mate tried to get everyone singing but kept getting told to sit down by the oldies behind me. I HATE sitting at matches, ruins the atmosphere.

I'm gonna be 50 in June and am typing this suffering from the effects of a very sore throat...about time I grew up!!! I thought the singing was excellent today and agree with most of the other postings. I couldnt here the Rangers chants...except the Fulham one...great stuff.

Well I dont care if my throat is wrecked again next week as long as we get 3 points and our just rewards!!! la la la lalalala etc

Who else was sitting in Y2 Block ? The atmosphere was sh*te! There was no pre-match singing and, although me and my mate tried our hardest, we seemed to have the tickets in the middle of all the non-singers!

I managed to find two empty seats behind the goal in the second half and the atmosphere was superb! Can't fault the singing from the right hand side!

Sitting in the QPR end, the singing echoed round the stadium very nicely and was a lot louder than the QPR fans for the whole game. Only problem was somtimes the left hand side were singing one song and the right hand side were singing another, a bit dwarbled at times.

I was sitting on the 237 bus home and 2 kids commented to their Dad that Brentford were very loud. To which the disgruntled Dad said 'They were taking the piss out of us' (he used that language aswell !!).

I very very smuggly sat there and thought 'Yes, we were'

Burno, i was probably behindish you, row E, i thought the noise was loud from us, and the sitting/standing issue well balanced. There weren't too many rows about when to sit/stand, and we all supported the boys well.

Hope the lad who ventured on the pitch got away scot free.

I thought we could have been louder (Newcastle anyone?), agree with what was said about left side singing one song and right side singing another. I was in Y7, which to my delight became the standing section, despite quite a few old folk around us

I spoke to some Rangers fans after the game in the pub they said we were very loud and could be heard. I thought the support was brilliant, the atmosphere was superb as well. My only issue was that the lower tier which I was in sang a different song to the upper tier. It was very good when the whole ground sang we hate fulham

According to my Rangers mate after the game we were pretty loud- only beaten (surprisingly!) this season by Reading's relatively small support at Loftus Road.
