I have only sold my excess tickets to family, admittedly however some of them I don't know well, on account of them having been in prison for 12 years for manslaughter. Still he's out now and looking forward to a day out watching his beloved chelsea :bound: Let's hope he stays off the amphetamines.

For profit, mainly :yes:. It's OK for you where you are, but in England, to watch this you would need to get up at 10am.
Just let that sink in.
Makes far more sense to sell on to touts who always know someone who intends to stay up all night. Money for old rope :shrug:.

Nana was able to purchase 4 home area tickets via the net from a third party toute. Question - where did the toute source the tickets from. That's what he was trying to identify - oh and get his money back!

When you find out who the rogues are Nana, can you ask if they can get me two tickets together at Stamford Bridge? Otherwise if it's one ticket per member, I won't be able to take my non - member daughter and then she won't talk to me for a month :sad:. Mind you, if she won't speak to me, she can't ask me for anything :suspect:.I think attendance at this one is a bit vague

Very true. But unfortunately not most POTENTIAL Brentford fans are members. My daughter - perfect case study. NB will tell you. I've been trying to get her involved for years but all she's ever done really is attend the odd game and take the piss out of me a bit. But Sunday, she REALLY bit - there was a tear in her eye when Rodney scored - I kid you not. She was completely blown away with Sunday and even asked if we could go to the club shop and buy her a home shirt (she can feck right off). I've got her now - she is a Bee. I suspect she always has been but that she just hasn't admitted it to her dad. I was the same when I was a kid - wouldn't admit to my dad that I supported Brentford until he caught me out one day when I referred to us as "we" lol. She is gonna be very disappointed if she can't come to the replay and I fear I will be back to square one.
That said, you can't get a quart in to a pint pot. Just one of those things - a real shame but I'm not gonna whinge. If it's televised live I might actually sacrifice my own ticket and take her somewhere that's showing the game to try and keep the momentum going. I'll be gutted not to be there myself, but in the long run, could help keep the family tradition going for another generation
.P.S. Wouldn't it be great if we could get a big screen at Griffin Park for those that can't get tickets or want to take family or friends that aren't members? Would that pull in a couple of thousand do you reckon? I'd rather go to that with my daughter than Stamford Bridge without her and would gladly pay thirty quid to do so. Any chance BFC?

Sounds like Brentford has got to your daughter the way that it got me...in the end. My dad dragged me along to many a game from when I was tiny at GP plus I'm told I even went to the Old Den for one match when Brentford won, either it wasn't segregated or we were in the home end. My dad told us to keep quiet until after the match...when we got back to his car and then we celebrated. Also have a vague memory of going to Plough Lane, I presume to see The Bees in the early '80's. Then I went through a phase of not going (remember my dad and bro going off to see us play Liverpool in '83 'cause I had a soft spot for them and liked Dalglish but never went. I turned down the chance to go to Wembley in '85...preferring to be bought a Care Bear instead).
I think that in the end, I was so bored at home on Saturday afternoons, that I started going more regularly and at the age of 11...nearly 12, something clicked and I fell in love with BFC. :yes: That was in '87/88 and then it ended up that I was so beesotted...I was the one pushing my dad to go to more and more games away from home, as well as all home games.

To be fair once it was up and running the atmosphere was superb, they should certainly try it again should the need arise, particularly with the extra revenue we are getting from the replay.

My daughter (aged 11) is still at the 'bovvered' stage although she did admit she wanted the Bees to beat Chelsea when she normally says 'hope Brentford lose'. There is hope!

As I said before, I'd be happy to pay the same as the match ticket price if it means I can watch the game with my daughter in a Bees environment :shrug:.

I think I may have got my 6 year old son on Sunday as well - he hasn't stopped talking about it and repeating the "Torres quid" and "Champions of europe song" since! He's been to quite a few games but too many 0-0s, losses and the JPT final meant he was still uncommitted and occasionally talking about supporting a Prem team – due to peer pressure at school I think. However, when he was going mental as I held it up to see Forrester put the penalty away I thought he might be bitten! I took him to school the next day proudly wearing his Bees scarf and his Bees kit for football practice after - ready to give some stick back to his pretend Chelsea (and MU) supporting friends!
