Training today

I would like to thank Martin Allen and the players with the way they made my Mum and kids feel welcome at training today. I’ve just spoken to them and they were treated superbly, signatures from all and MA insisted that my lovely Mother went and got a camera. The kids are staying with her for a week during their holiday and have been looking forward to this and he got to tell Sam that we have a cat called “Sodje”. Sam asked him if it was good cat and my lad can never lie!
Anyway his voice tells me that he has had a memorable experience at the hands of a very vocal but friendly manager. With all the other stuff flying about, this has to be said.
Much appreciated and cheap words but anyone who can add a bit of sparkle to their lives are top dogs.

We bought our kids goldfish the other week, my daughter chose a gold one & called it "Goldie", my youngest lad also chose a gold one & called it "Saturn".

Lil' FB made sure he got a fish that was Red & White & called it "SamSodje"

We also got one of those sucker fish things that are supposed to keep the tank clean & tidy, lil' FB decided he was like the 'groundsman' so called it "Tom". lol

Unfortunately "Tom" died last week :sad: - I hope Mr. Stobbart is feeling OK...

Got the photos back yesterday and it certainly looked like all had taken time to make his day. Top effort.

Northampton Bee, I was watching training that day and over heard MA talking to who I assume was your Mum and kids. Not only did MA insist that your Mum went and got a camera but he also gave her directions to a petrol station where she could go and pick one up!

I too went and watched training today so that I could say hello to one of my old players Scott Fitzgerald. I have to say that I was so impressed with the way both Martin Allen and the players conducted themselves. Whilst MA is in charge the Bees will always be a club to be proud of, let's hope he gets the backing his efforts deserve.QUOTE][/QUOTE]

Not really - they were just playing 7-a-side while I was there, four teams in rotation.
