.... book up early if any of you lot are going to Blackpool cos most WHU are waiting for Sky to muck around with the fixtures before booking anything there.

But you got relegated! Forget Sky - you are off the radar.

:nono: When I was a youngster I sneaked off the see Hull Vs Bees ..we won 2-1 with grainger (spit) scoring a class freekick winner amid joyous and very wet scenes :bound: and I sneaked to Swansea City on a friday night, won 2-0 i think and I sneaked to Bolton in the coca cola cup on a tuesday night. sneekes 84th if i remember...its ingrained for some reason
All with either Chessington or mates houses as excuses, so my advice is to lie to your parents and deceive them completely, this could also be good life experience for you buddy

As always No Coat you have come up with some sound advice

;)

All I would say Superbees2K3, if you are going to lie, make it believable and dispose of any evidence like train tickets. When I was about 14/15 my mum put my jacket in the wash and found my train ticket, which was rather hard to talk my way out of that one!!!

First away game of new season hopefully a packed away end to cheer on the bees. Will be catchin 8:40am from Euston to Liverpool enjoying a drink in town centre etc.

Nice have to be in about 11 usually but i think im gona take the coach anyway

Tranmere by train

Remember to take a good book and a walkman so you do not have the temptation to hit any irritating bees fans on return journey to brentford. Reason: moaning about whole game, players etc. The walkman will drown this outlol lol lol lol

Tranmere by train

Come on Simon, don't put anyone off from going on the coach. It's a wonderful experience.

I'm on the 07:40 train by the way :)

Tranmere by train

gonna pay on the day ash,its only 50 quid and it gives you the flexibility to come back when you want and leave when you want, then again i might even drive-havent decided yet as its ages away

I am going up and back on the day as can't afford silly shenanigans in Blackpool with V the weekend after!

Given that you lot managed to pick the only Euston - Liverpool train (8.40) that doesn't stop in MK I'll be getting an earlier one and getting on your train in Stafford!!

Four of us in the car, leaving 'NAM at 11am on 08/08/03 (just in case of heavy traffic ;) ) .... let the games commence :bound:

Dont know if Bball can make it, have to find out, but the gap toothed stinky vagrants of B'pool maybe having the weekend off :(

Tranmere by train

Only joking about brentford Fc supporters coach. Everyone should be encouraged to use every mode of transport to travel to Bees away games.

See you on the 7:40am Burno. when does this train get into Liverpool lime street?

2 more for the 8:40 to find the pub that last year was selling carlsberg export at £1.20....... oh yes £1.20 we missed our train home last year due to this.... oh well.. £1.20 here we come again..

Tranmere by train

I have managed a train ticket fluff and got one less than I needed.

Has anyone got a spare train ticket for the 0840 returning on the 1832? all the £19 ones have gone and it's £50 cheapest now.

Tranmere by train

I cant help you... in car... but WORST case scenario.. surely there is someone on here, and on those trains, with a young persons railcard.. you can meet at Euston and give them the cash for that ticket and use the 19 pound tix, buy them a pint and you are still 15 pound better off

A night in Liverpool

Does no one fancy doing a night out in Liverpool on the Saturday? I am bored of Blackpool. :(

Tranmere by train

Jimbee I'm on the 8.40 & I've got a young person's railcard so I can sort something if you find me on the day, also Roy the Nutter's wavering & I've got his train ticket so if he does bottle it you're welcome to that. We missed the cheapest tickets & I think it was about £31, obviously you can have it at face value. Still hopeful that he'll come though.

I might have a spare Jim.

Not everyone has paid me for mine yet.

I'll let you know.

If not I'm going on those trains and can do the YP thing if needed.

It is a long way from Liverpool Lime Street.

If you don't want to get a cab you can get the Liverpool Metro to Rock Ferry and walk from there, about 10 minutes. There is a big pub next to the ground, which is fairly friendly.

Will buckled rails mean that we arrive late - like we did at Wigan a couple of years back, despite planning a mid-day arrival?

From www.virgintrains.co.uk :

Hot weather restrictions

Due to the exceptionally hot weather Network Rail has imposed widespread speed restrictions over the network.

Unfortunately, these will result in extended journey times, some service reductions and disruption. Please ask a member of the team at stations for details.

We apologise for the impact that these changes will cause. The situation will be kept under constant review.
