from how many games?... and today, coming on as sub he got brushed off the ball from which Tranmere scored, contributed very little else until the throw. That was my interpretation from BeesWorld, anyway. Not good enough.

We are fantastic until we get to the final third where we fall apart through poor final balls and lack of anticipation and move,mt up front as well as the inability to shoot straight.
Not sure what the answer is.
CD is CD and won't change and Hayes looks like he is getting a bit sharper and I still think Farid will score goals.
Total enigma as this is potentially the best squad we have had since Coppell's

Just left the ground. First half was all ours without creating anything. They score from their first real chance and look dangerous after that. Deserved equaliser from Douglas but in truth with the possession we had, we should have had 3 points. Kev o'connor our best player

Think you answered your own question. We don't have enough options up front . I doubt any serious promotion chasing team would think that 3 strikers is enough in a squad of 22+ but Uwe does.

I still stand by my comments - yes he got the equaliser but how many chances does he put away - although he is not the only guilty party when it comes to finishing.

Not really disagreeing. Barron was a misguided choice at a time we didn't think Bidwell was coming. Happy with al the other additions though. The Barron money i am sure would have probably paid for a pretty decent striker

The lack of potency up front is being compounded by missed chances from elsewhere in the team too. It'll either all come together and we'll suddenly score hatfulls or we'll be lamenting a huge opportunity missed come the end of the season.

We're creating enough chances. I think there's enough ability in our three strikers to start putting the chances away. Re Barron, we need cover at left back. We are doing OK at the mo. Only 9 games played.

Right. The team should be settling in by now and looking to dominate games, score more freely and win consistently. Equalising in the last few minutes isn't going to happen every week.

Spot on, but its not because Uwe has still not learnt anything from last season. We need a settled team, dropping Donaldson and Farid was ridiculous in the extreme!! Is he not aware that players, especially centre forwards need to build up an understanding....Uwe is not helping thing, good result in the end thou.

i know but we not going to be playing away to the league leaders every week. However, its clear we need to convert more chances and be more ruthless. I think this time next week we will know how good or bad this team really is.

Absolutely agree, we shouldn't be happy with a 95th minute equaliser ! The team selection today was wrong, Uwe sent out a team not too lose and if not for Douglas we would have come away pointless. We have enough talent in our squad, but for some reason Uwe seems to get the selection wrong................leaving out Adam Forshaw who....who ...Uwe has said is our BEST player so far this season was nuts. I have been 100% behind Herr Rosler but I am beginning to doubt him ?

Next week we will have played twelve games, about a quarter of the league season, that will give us a rough indication of how good we are regardless of which team uwe picks.

in writing that I was assuming this is a squad good enough for promotion and going for it. If it's not then forget it. As you say next week will show an improvement or be more of the same. For all I know they are overachieving.

Apart from Hayes up front the starting line up was pretty much exactly what the majority suggested, although in hindsite we are allowed to be wrong!!!
I would confidantly expect that the team will change for Tuesday when being at home the onus will be on us to take the game to the opposition, rightly or wrongly the Manager has a squad of players that are capable of covering each others positions thus giving him the luxury to change the personnel when niggles etc kick in. Previous seasons we have been stuck with 11 players who play each week with some alternatives but not on a like for like basis, this season he has juggled the finamces to the extent that pretty much he can put out 2 alternative teams, both of which would be competative. I agree that forever changing teams would not be seen as the way forward however increasingly it is prevalant in most teams where circumstances allow

I think you need to accept the management are aware of fitness levels. It may be the case that we are having to nurse Forshaw at the mo. We got a point away at the league leaders. Why was the selection wrong?It doesn't matter when you score within a match and I've never subscribed to the 'lucky' last minute equaliser view. We have a strong squad and we should utilise it, As the season progresses, teams with smaller squads which can't rotate will start running on empty.

i didnt go today so i cant comment too much but i do think we should have more than fourteen points after ten games, i dont think we are over achieving and agree we should be aiming for top six. Next week we play crawley who have won six games so its going to be interesting, exciting or frustrating. im not sure which tbh.
