Bamford is a forward, but was utilised in a wide position by Derby County in the Championship last season. Queens Park Rangers and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also in contention to sign him.
ANDY JOHNSON - Bees have turned down an offer to sign the 33 year old former Queens Park Rangers forward, citing the club's youth policy.
JACK ROBINSON - It has been reported that Brentford are keeping a close eye on Liverpool defender Jack Robinson. A left-back, he has played most of his football away on loan from Anfield, at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Blackpool. Middlesbrough are also in competition for the player.
