Tuesday Night Stats

Couldn't help noticing our record on a Tuesday night this season:

Played 6 Lost 6
For 3 Against 15

Not sure what this means (if anything??.......)
Maybe we struggle to recover between a Saturday and a Tuesday??.........

Having said that our Monday/Wednesday/Friday record is

Played 4 Won 3 Drawn 1
For 6 Against 2

Should be OK against Burnley.......... :sorted:

A good few years ago now, long before Sky got involved, didn't we experiment with Friday kick offs?

I don't think we won many of them though.

I'm sure someone will have a record of games we have played on various days of the week, and how we have performed.

Yeah but look who we've played (in the league) on Tuesday nights this season:

Boro twice
Hull
Birmingham
Cardiff

Hardly an easy list

I will add Oxford to that as 'not an easy one'. I know we played a stupid lineup but Oxford have now beaten a team from each of the top 5 divisions so they are no fools.

I have also noticed our poor Tuesday record. Friday games we have done better...let's focus on that ;)

Dont think so mate , only remember a handful over the years

not really, we finished above the latter two last season...

It was actually our U12's and the reason we lost was because it was way past half the team's bed time and our keeper threw a tantrum in the second half because he didn't get warm milk and cookies at half time:sorted:.
