Just noticed Middlesex have signed Glenn McGrath for a month, unfortunately he joins after the 20/20 game, but that is a massive coup. I might try and pop down and see him play.

Off to Lord's shortly, it's sold out now, I just need to practise my anti-Slurrey songs and have a few liveners. I think this will be a different atmosphere to any cricket match ever played in this country. :beer: :box: :drunk:

Weekes and Dalrymple bowled 6 overs for 19 runs and then he put Cook 3-0-29-1 and Betts 2-0-29-0 back on....
that's where the game was lost...
Dalrymple was about to throw the ball in the air and dropped it, but i bet it bloody hurt, so maybe he can be forgiven..... I'm sure Weekes was bowled.. all confused.. we needed the big screen really.
How did Murtagh not run out Weekes

Should have opened the batting with Klusener or at least put him at No 3. Middlesex lost the last 20-20 game because he came in at No.7 when the run-rate was far too high.
With Azhar Mahmood back I'd back Surrey to win the competition.
