We are launching our new collection of sheepskin boots that are half the price of *** Australia ,but better quality.I know the weather is getting warmer but the mad women wear these all year round.If you think your better half may be interested please pm with your email address and I will send you the catalogue collection.

Not very great boats though as the sheepskin isnt very water proof! Probably very warm and comfortable though before they sink!:)

Apologies (kind of) for that typo. Maybe subliminaly they remind me of boats, or barges, or something.

I believe the name is derived exactly from that.

Whilst Im here,I'll have me soap box.Ugg is a style of Australian sheep skin boot.Deckers Inc have some how got an European trade mark on the word Ugg.We were going to call ours UGGAROO and got the trade mark passed for the UK.A couple of weeks later we received a hefty legal warning from Deckers solictors to stop.By then we had already decdied to change it anyway.Their trade mark is ridiculous,its like Nike trade marking " Trainers " and Adidas etc etc can not use the word " Trainer ".They tried the trademark in Australia too but that got over turned.

They'd probably go for those as well as " passing off ".Our Customs and Chinese Customs are sh*t hot on sheepskin boots.One company branded 10,000 boots with some thing like UKgg ,they never got passed Chinese Customs and they lost all their money.

Aussie Bee, if you were a fashion lovee like me you'd know that some companies dont quite always do what they say they do.I doubt it you would know if b or c grade Merino wool was being being used where it cant be seen in the boots.Ours are grade A through out the whole boot.Plus we only use 2010 sheepskin so its a better quality.A lot of big names by " deals " of skin to get the price down to make their share holders a few more % profit.Obviously making boots with year old sheepskin or even older isnt as good as using fresh skin.

We've a macho mens boot similar to Timnerland/Cat lined with Merino wool coming out soon.The roughty boys can have real warm feet watching footie in Winter and cool feet watching cricket in Summer

Hmmm. I'm prepared to reconsider my sweeping generalisation VCMazz. However, MOST (nearly all) birds look worse in UGG boots. They are a fashion disaster.

The name would imply that they aren't made from sheep skin but from some other animal found in Australia, namely a giant mouse on springs! :fishing:
