I am sure I remember one of the longest unbeaten runs in the country and it went away when we lost up at Crewe, or possibly Shrewsbury.... but I think it was Crewe :computer: I went to many of them games and am guessing it was around 1996?

Looks like 26 in 1995 when we eventually lost 2-0 to Brum :computer: I am gonna keep digging for my Shrewsbury or Crewe one :computer: That had the cracking Hull away game where Martin G******r scored the free kick right in front of us... happy days.

Our record unbeaten run was under Ron Noades. The last sixteen games of the 1998/9 season and the first ten of the 1999/2000 season. Swansea City were the last team to beat us - at the Vetch Field - Gillingham were the next team to beat us - at Griffin Park - something like six months later.

Wasn't Herman's last game for us in the 2-2 draw at Burnley when Scot Partridge scored from a poor back pass and Evans scored from near the halfway line after we were 2-0 down.

Not sure but that is how my aged memory recalls it!
