Woods lost his air of invincibility in a shoot out today

I wonder if golf changed forever last night.

Woods lost his nerve coming down the stretch. Losing from the position he ws in on Friday was unthinkable, and from where he was overnight too. He doesn't lose from that position, until now.

I didn't think Woods played badly, he just didn't make his putts. That was very unlike Woods and I think it will make everyone believe they can catch him if he's ahead in the later stages.

The first Asian major winner will also shake golf up like never before IMHO. Look for the flow of players from the east in a few years.

I didn't see the golf last night but if some one could tell me what the weather was like at Hazeltine I would be grateful.

Was the Tigger waterproofed up?

I think Woods hit some great shots at times - he didn't miss many on the back stretch but like you say he just didn't hole putts and this was the thing to me me - they didn't look like they were going in - they were tentative and nervy, missing by quite a bit high of the "break".

I only really saw the back nine and Woods never really looked in charge to me and the Korean didn't really look intimidated, his only error an awful first putt on 17. He had already beaten Woods down the finishing straight before.

Yang's second to the last is probably one of the greatest shots EVER under pressure in a major. I really mean that too, I trying hard to think of one as good as nothing comes immediately to mind.

Korean women have really come through and Yang looks like he has more big wins in him to me....

The weather at Hazeltine was sunny. The wind was variable making life a bit tricky for players out there yesterday.

It was a fabulous win for Yang and as WEB says may lead to more players from Asia challenging and winning major titles. I'm not so sure I'd be writing Tiger Woods off just yet though. Although putting was his problem last night he usually gets that side of his game spot on. It's his accuracy off the tee that would concern me as I don't quite think he's got that back just yet.

As for Padraig......

If someone had said one player would birdie & one bogey.....you'd ave said 1/8 it was the other way round.

I reckon you are the only 1/8 left in golf.

As long as it is a stableford competition ;)

You'd have enjoyed seeing Harrington on 8th

8 on a par 3...and he got "up & down" for that lol

Even when Harrington tried to throw his ball in the crowd on 18 he snap hooked it   lol
