I have just returned home to the snowy Northwest! Great trip got to see the Walsall and Wycombe games as well as meeting some great people! Having not seen the Bees for a while I have the following observations; In both games the midfiled was non existent, and also in both games the ground was soaking wet yet we continued using the long ball. When it skims of the top those long balls are pretty useless. Maybe thats why the midfiled was non existent huh? I also had the privilege of standing behind the goal in the Wycombe game and our support is fantastic, awesome in fact. Kudos to all the singers, noise makers and Bees fanatics.
I believe in AS and as a Bee of over 50 years I feel that the club are (from an organization point of view) in the best shape that they have been for a while. Long may it continue.
Dropped a hundred quid in the club shop and had a few pints in the Griffin, even got Ralph to smile-well a half smile!

I think that the tactic of using the ling ball when it is wet is that the defenders will have to turn..maybee slip and let in the attackers....

Or, cautiously, if you put it to your own MF they may slip when trying to turn, and let in the opposition

JB if that were the case why did we cponsistently poke it down the middle? Strev and Mac had no chance against their Centre back, Oliver I believe. I dont think they won one header against him. Maybe tactically it would have been better to have Cort on earlier, once he came on he won the big ball but before that we had nothing. It surely therefore makes sense to keep it on the ground and play through your MF and build that way
