Looking forward to this as i've never been before. Thinking of getting the train, looks like the best way to go is to Birmingham then connect to Bescot stadium station? Is that right?

Hopefully we can take 500 to this?

Really not much to get excited about, dump of an ident-i-kit, atmosphere free, shoebox ground, dullsville area, and moody old bill.

Brentford winning and making a decent noise in the away end. Good local club bar as well with reasonable prices.

\I've done this one a couple of times. We normally take up to 1K cos its an easy drive.
May do it again this time around.

Walsall

Remember going there the week before our trip to the Millenium for the final against Port Vale. Evening game, we put out a reserve side, McCammon scored one, we lost 3-2 and our (very) outside chances of the play offs went west in exchange for a trip to Cardiff. Didn't understand it then and still don't. Never was keen on Lewington as manager.

for a pint use the club bar , its very big , and they let away supporters in, i always go in there after the match to, cos there is only one road away from there , so there is no rush if your driving,

If u are planning on havin a good booze before we hammer the cocky ba**ards, they don't allow away supporters in the boozers and sports bars around the station! Best off drinking in the fullbrook about 5 min walk from ground..

Well, I think they av introduced a 2 hour rule now, so no, your best bet is to drive past the s**thole of a ground and take one of the many rights on the housing estate, you will be able to park there and it's couple of minutes walk to the ground, brockhurst crescent is the best bet,

Walsall

Hoping to go to this one. Might be a six-pointer when we play them.

Walsall

Not too bad a record at Walsall.

We've won 10 and drawn 5 of the 29 games.

Walsall

You glass is half empty then.

Kind of, but you can make stats back up almost any argument you like

ie one win in twelve could sound depressing, one defeat in twelve sounds quite impressive but if the record was W1 D10 L1 they are both talking about the same thing

I was shocked to read the report of Saturdays game in one of the Sunday papers and it stated that this was our first win in three league games when they could have said we've only lost one in eight.

Moor St is a lovely little station that's been restored to it's former glory. Come out the entrance, cross the road and go into the Bullring. Very good for retail therapy. Walk through the Bullring into the Palasades shopping centre, go down the escalator for New St station and connection to Walsall. Walking time from Moor St - New St = 6 mins approx. Simples!

Walsall

Will be going to this. Where are people getting their cheap train tickets from?

Walsall

Thanks mate!

I know it's an away game but it'd be good if the travelling fans could turn it into a King Kev (:kingkev:) appreciation day.

I was going to this but had to cancel my flights due to work commitments :(
