I know this is a very old thread but it is directly related to the subject.
I have just watched Neil Warnock’s post match presser and was quite amused. Apparently they’d have won the game if the score was 1-0 at half time, and that our equaliser was simply the result of poor refereeing.
Apparently there was some sort of stonewall handball missed too. Comments about the officiating took up more than half of the interview. Championship refs don’t want to give anything, we need VAR, etc. etc.
Interestingly no mention of the stonewall pen that wasn’t given for the foul on Dalsgaard straight after their opener.
He did say we were a good side, and I get he is trying to create a siege mentality in his own squad, but as a modern player hearing the same tired excuses about officiating from your manager so often must get boring and just sound a bit desperate and dishonest.
