Well Done Bees!

Apologies that this should be in Big Match, but this is more a comment about the team as a whole, rather than Tonight's match. I though we were good for 1-1, and as that was the score on 90 minutes, that was probably a fair reflection of the game. They were nothing special, so I shudder to think how bad Middlesbrough were on Saturday to lose by the same scorelin at home.

We fell apart once they got the second goal. It looked downhill from the minute they equalised, but we weathered the storm well. It would have been very diffuclt from an outsiders point-of-view to have been able to recognise the Premiership side out there tonight.

The lads were fantastic, and they knew it. Let's move on from tonight, as we know we can and should - after all we held, or were beating them for nearly 2 hours.

The tavelling fans were terrific, and we can all go home with a smile on our faces. I was down at the station tonight, and the train looked calm, but with Bees fans in a jubilant mood I guess.

Well, I'm off to bed (before all of you

COME ON YOU BEES!

Just back home from the bees express! Got in just after 4:15 after 2 long journeys and sitting outside of Acton for 15mins on the way back! (As well as sitting at all of the stations on the way!)

But overall a great day for us, we deserved the result, we matched them in every department and they just got lucky at the end of the day!

But thats the way is goes for us! Lets hope we can move on now and not let a great game for us to go to our heads and hopefully we will play this good in the second divison!

I am sure that if we play as good as we did tonight at every match in the league, we will be going up as champions at the end of the season!

Well done to all the Bees that travelled and well done to all the players who gave us a great game to watch!

Well Done Bees!

I can only agree with comments.

The Bees were good, they were very good.

It is put into perspective when you see the total cost of our squad at £1.07m. Thats less than one of Shearers feet!

Shearer never got on the score sheet and £25k Lloyd did.

The boys made Newcastle look less than ordinary and it is a crying shame that the score line in no way reflected the total commitment and effort that the boys in red in white put in.

Well Done Bees!

yes jolly good and bravo to our brave boys

Well Done Bees!

Couldn't make the game last night but spoken to a customer who is a Toon. We are (in his opinion) the best team they have played this season, and our fans were outstanding. He was so impressed it left him speachless.

Well done the team, Steve Coppell and all those that travelled.

Well Done Bees!

WELL I COULD AGREE MORE THE SPIRT WAS THERE AND I WAS AT THE GAME A LONG JORNERY HOME BUT PROUD TO BEE

Well Done Bees!

We can hold our heads high, we showed what good football we can play under steve.
Can't believe how quiet the geordies were.
They only woke up when they scored and when
we called their god a w..k..r!!!

Well Done Bees!

The only difference between us and them at the end of the day was a fresh, pacey striker, who is capable of scoring goals running at our tiring back line.

Even that only made it 2-1 the other goals came when we pushed forward.

The whole team were tremendous and the effort and commitment were outstanding, coupling that to the players playing some very good football and we gave them a scare I'm sure they won't forget.

We should all be very proud of the players and they should be proud of us for the noise and support we gave them. A great day out and for an hour it looked as if we were going to do it. So near.

Well Done Bees!

Great performance by the lads. Pretty nice ground, shame about the amount of stairs you have to climb

I was astounded at how quiet the home fans were & a few of them came up to us after the game & congratulated us on how we played, as has there guvnor Bobby Robson on the TV.

Bring on the County!

Aye, I've got to admit that was the most unconvincing 4-1 I've ever seen! I was also extremely disappointed by the turnout and atmosphere from the Newcastle fans - that's the quietest I've heard the home crowd for a while. Still at least more turned up than at Middlesbrough on Tuesday - about 3,900!

I don't think any of the Newcastle squad players did themselves any favours with their performances last night, but that's not to take anything away from The Bees, who were superb to a man.

Hope you all enjoyed yourselves (it certainly sounded like it from where I was sitting) and let's see if we can beat those other Magpies on Saturday!

Well Done Bees!

First time this season seen Bees, they were absolutely brilliant, great shape,Coppell's obviously working wonders. Can hardly remember 'Toon' winning any headers!I wonder how much of the crowd takings we collect? Shame gate were'nt bigger.Shouted myself hoarse! Spoke to 2 Geordies in 'Goose in the Garden'after game, they were impressed with team and support. 'Come on yoo Reds!!!!!!

Well Done Bees!

What can i say that hasn't already been said? (see below)
That was the best performance by team and fans alike that i have witnessed away from home in a long time. Be interesting how many foolham will take up there. Geordies were all good lads in the bars, which made it all the better.

Anyway, a big up to Ron Noades for bringing us this group of players, who are the best i've seen in our colours. He may have put us in major debt, but at least for the short term, we have a team to be proud of. One things for sure, life isn't dull with him around

Well Done Bees!

What a wonderful night in Toontown! 4-1 is just a joke. Proud to Bee. Well done PG and team for organising all. Let's hope there's another opportunity, maybe on a Saturday with two trains? The support from the Bees Quarter must have been heard in Gateshead. Brilliant. Certain it must have something to do with he move to the Brook Road end where the atmosphere this season is better than anything I can remember at GP since the early '60's - or is that my brain cells going. What a season this is going to be if it carries on like this...... By the way, to all those travellers taking the piss out of the elderly trainspotters at Doncaster, did I hear the Kings Cross-bound passengers on the other side saying jeez look at all those poor gits in red and white, how sad is that? I may be sad but what a bloody good night, eh? Thanks, sqaud..... Bye the way, Scotty P gone under cover of euphoria.....you clever bstaard, Ronald.

Well Done Bees!

One of the best displays ever by a BEES Team.

It is such a shame we will not get the media coverage we deserve.

The support was fantastic.

If we do go bust, it will be games like this I will remember forever.

PROUD AS PUNCH
