Well done Celtic

The SPL isn't really that much more predictable than the EPL though, is it? In the SPL there are 2 dominant sides from a field of 12, in the EPL there's 4 sides dominating from 20. Well, 3 dominant sides really seeing as Liverpool haven't won the title in almost 20 years. In the last 10 years only 1 of 3 teams has won the EPL, 1 of 2 the SPL.

Aberdeen were indeed the last team outside of Glasgow CelGers to win the SPL, 1984/85, managed by Sir Alex. I think they won the SPL 3 times in 7 or 8 years in his reign and haven't won it since.

Can Rangers blow 3 trophies this year from good positions ?

Doesn't look like it as Rangers are 2-0 up at h/t agaonst Q of the S.

Well done Celtic

Well done Celtic

Well done the Gers rofl

Well done Celtic

How many league 2 sides would get through to the last 16 of the champs league or the UEFA cup final you recon?

To be fair though, CelGers aside - How many SPL sides do you reckon could get to the last 16 of the CL or the final of the UC?

Well done Celtic

Probably none right now. Aberdeen and Dundee Utd were there in the 80s, and Aberdeen got past the group stages this year beating Copenhagen 4-0 in the process. Don't get me wrong, I don't think the SPL is a good league, but i wouldn't compare it to league 2.

Well done Celtic

Celtic and Rangers would finish mid table in the Premiership with the occasional good season like Portsmouth.

But, if they were ever accepted into the English League they should start in the lowest Division. :sorted:

Looks like Scottish football stinks in more ways than one:-

And Celtic have written to fans asking them to clean their act up as a smell was "impacting on the experience" of the match for other supporters. (Daily Record)
