No. A signature is required. If you miss them your have to pick em up from the post office
Can someone confirm this? Me and the missus both out at work all day, kids in school, ie no-one in during the day. If its a signature needed and ends up going back to some friggin sorting office, Im going to start sweating.....
Still a bit worried about this full-price/concessions business.............
7 in our party.....4 full price, 3 concessions....due to 2 travelling up from Devon on the day (1 a concession) who aren't sure on route/arrival time, we'll be posting them their tickets in advance and meeting up inside the ground.
What happens if we unwittingly post them 2 full price tickets leaving us with only 2 full price tickets for 3 adults??........Not gonna be happy if the turnstile light shows my ticket to be a kids one and I'm denied entry.........
Any thoughts??

They will stick a card through your door and you could pick them up saturday morning ?

I would strongly advise against saturday pick up, just in case they cannot locate the item. As it's bussiest day of the week for collections, most callers officies do not do any searches for misplaced items until monday. I know that because I work in RM callers office and although we find 99% of items right there and then, there are always few misplaced ones.
Best thing is to go and collect tickets ASAP, most callers officies are now open until 8pm at least one day a week (usually wednesday) and you can also order re-delivery online, if you know that someone willl be at home thu/fri/sat morning.
Anyway I hope you all get yr tickets and see you at Wembley.
Mine ordered on the phone first thing last Thursday; efficiently dealt with in terms of both the time to answer the phone and in taking the order.
Said they would be despatched recorded delivery Monday and duly arrived safely in Cornwall 0915 this morning; good, efficient service (just as it was for the JPT) and the Club have done good in my experience in outsourcing it to them.
You have a long drive !!
It is but it is going to be worth it; no question NewBrentford will just outplay them and win in a canter; first game of next Season at home to the Hoops and Clayton will make Bosingwa look even more stupid with his blinding pace.
Missus missed the bloody postman![]()

It doesn't say Brentford v Swindon... It states Brentford/Swindon as obviously we were given that end before the winners were determined. Evidently Wembley Stadium were prepared and took the tickets to the 2nd legs and the winners took them home with them to sell the very next day. I can imagine if they were not prepared we would have had to wait 3-4 days for them to print off 30k tickets with just Brentford on it.

So did I...have to be signed for so have to collect from the Post Office, but have to allow 4 hours.

It's normally, or it used to be, 24 hours.
According to the email I just received from BFC, looks like we have sold 20,000. I think thats fine all things considered

Same here. I can't see us getting much more than 20k though given that after noon tomorrow it will be personal callers only. Perhaps we'll get up to 21,000. From memory that's about the same as we got for the Crewe PO final.

Mine was 3 hours for my parcel I collected yesterday.
the card gets filled out by the postman/woman, the amount of time written on the back is dependent on whether the aformentioned delivery person will get back to the sorting office prior to the aformentioned sorting office closing for the day.
if it says 24 hrs it actually means 'tomorrow', anytime, so get down as soon as they open.
if the postperson has delivered them without getting a signature it is for either of these reasons: they have signed for it for you because they are kind (happens a lot in rural areas), or when sorting the mail at 6am they are still drunk and haven't noticed so rammed it in with all the other mail.
either way, the world won't end, be happy.
any other questions please ask away,
yours,
a postman, somerset.
ps - i never do anything wrong, i get signatures for everything, etc, etc (in case postman KEN is reading)

Where in Devon r they traveling from ?
Slightly disappointed we only sold 20,000 when Wembley is on our doorstep and it's arguably the biggest game in the last 20 years.

thought the same thing.....are we mental or something???....some people wont decide till saturday if they are going or not, surely it makes sense to keep open as long as possible ???? beggars belief !!
Barnstaple........actually Bratton Fleming......
Does seem odd to stop selling tickets so early. All true fans will have had plenty of time to get tickets by then, but I know a group of four who can only come depending on something else, and won't know until Friday. I'm sure as more and more press articles start being published, others will start to think about coming along too. Not the end of the world, but a shame nonetheless.

Makes the 27k for the JPT look incredible.
