A couple of games ago I saw a copper checking the kids coming through the kids gate,
Tuesday night I overheard someone moaning that he had seen a couple of "youths" (Not what he called them) jump the turnstile, he was moaning cos he had paid to get in obviously.

Would you get in as a kid if you could and would you try and get out of paying, particulary with our well documented financial problems.

Much as I moan about prices I would'nt do that myself

What does anybody else think?

I wouldn't try to get in for nothing, but can remember at 16-17 trying to look 15 to get in for half price, minutes after trying to look 18 to get served in the Kings Arms... my excuse was that I couldn't have afforded the drink if I'd paid full price.

Don't think I could now credibly lose over 30 years to get through the kids' entrance

I think our prices stink but as Tomogp says I would still pay. Lets face it gents, £51 (me and my 2 teenage sons, who are 6th formers and havent looked under 16 since they were 14), the programme (actually good value this - a quality production), drinks and deathburgers, and petrol for the 80-mile round trip from the land of the caravans, is a bloody expensive day out for what we sometimes get served at GP. My wife thinks I am mental shelling out what amounts to a good 80 quid per home game, but, as someone else often says, its Brentford innit!
