Why Wally Why?
Apologises if you don't want anymore threads about sacking Wally but I felt this was different to the others.
I write this is in two minds one of me is fuming at the fact that we have let us selves get into this situation because we have failed to sack a manager who according to my calculations has won 10 (9 this year and I believe Chesterfield last season was our only win in the 2003 section of last season) league games since the start of 2003 but also resigned to the fact of relegation.
With that in mind I still cannot deichper the following
A) Why you seem insistent on normally playing two big target men strikers together, when surely its better to have one to hold the ball up and the other one to bang the goals away? We need a preadtor in the box to put away the ball in the 6 yard box, a good example would be today when Hunt sent in a great ball across the 6 yard box but none of our strikers got anywhere near it.
B) Following on from that why a clearly talented player in Mark Peters has continually been ignored despite being our best player in pre season and scoring great goals in the reserves. Further to this you too insinuated in the chornicle (I believe) that Mark Peters was our secret weapon for the QPR last game showing a belief in his talent you were right Marks Peters started that game and promptley scored. Ok he may not have had as good a game since but he has never been given a chance or a proper run in the team as you have continually picked any one in front of him.
C) Which leads me to question why you signed Peter Beadle a player who for the past few season has not been division 2 standard.
D) Why you seem so insistent on having a lack in creativty in midfield by always playing two plungers in midfield surely it would be better to play one with a bit of creativity who can spark attacks. Ben May does a great job of holding the ball up however whenever he looks for a player in space however he only gets support from Hunt as the central players are too busy trying to hold the line?
E) Why has Andy Frampton been continually left out of the side when fit ( I concede he has had several injuries) When ever he has played at left back or at centre back he has struck me as our best player in either posistion (although I am a fan of Bull)
F) Why have all our creative players seemed to have lost motivation and the confidence to try and create chances, over the current season Rougier and O'Connor have totally lost their confidence and no longer attempt the best aspect of their game (I have also noticed this in Jay Tabb recently). Further to this why has Tommy Wright just appeared to have lost all interest in playing when he came here he was up for it and full of confidence, however he now appears to be short of confidence and ideas. I can understand one maybe two players not peforming to there best but four suggest a lack of motivation from the coaching staff.
G) Also why have our results gone down like a landslide since Roberto Forzini departed?
H) Why have several players (Kitimirike and Roget spring to mind) criticised the situation regarding training at this club?
I) Why is Jay Tabb (our best player) continually played on the bench you suggest its because you are nurturing him because of his age however at 22 (born on 1/1/82 according to the os) he is older then Matt Somner, Kevin O'Connor, Eddie Hutchinson (albeit just a little older then the three) and Ben May who are regulars in the side?
J) Why do all our attacks focus on crosses from the left side only? I don't dispute that Hunt is a very talented player but the simple fact is that this is very easy for an opposition defence to plan for before the game.
K) If our players are too nice, why is our disciplinary record the worst I can remember it in all my season following Brentford?
Now I do not expect any answers from the management on any of these questions, in fact this was more a letting things of my chest exercise but I still remained baffled by why some of these mistakes have been allowed to be made.
