Losing 1-0 on 30 mins. Apparently Steven Evans should have scored after 12mins....

Does anyone know who played for us ?

Mark Bonner said:They looked several weeks fitter to me than us, they start next saturday with a local derby against Stevenage Borough.
That was Lloyd Blackman. Thought he was OK - kept whingeing to the referee though, rather than concentrating on trying to get the better of Kev O'Connor, which generally he didn't.homerbees said:Was impressed with some of the skills their number 11 had on the left side of midfield, looked like a good player.
Edmundo said:Not a great performance, we missed Paul Brooker. I hope his injury is better than I heard today.

No panic... only a friendly....Sweepy said:More worrying was Bristol City and Scunthorpe scoring 11 goals between them in their respective matches today.

Friendlies mean **** all.
LostBee said:We had a cracking pre-season before Downes almost took us down didn't we?
homerbees said:They do when it involves your first team against a pretty average non league side a week before the season kicks off.
Les Beeavinu said:Wasn't there, but I wonder if we'll see any new faces this week. No point paying either a loan or week to week contract for any longer than we need to so it could be that MA has kept someone up his sleeve until this week.
Jamie Lawrence? Darren Pratley? AN Other?
What book was he reading and is he in the Guinness Book of Records for it?Wee Dave said:DJ was a right handful, full of neat tricks and a blistering turn of page.

George - mostly safe paid of hands but he gives me kittens, he truly does and I can't wait to see Nelson back in goal!
Dobbo - hate to say it, but very poor.
Sodje - withdrawn early, not sure why as he didn't appear to have been injured.
Turner (c) - turned easily several times in the first half as Woking played a lot of up and unders, but grew in stature through the game.
Frampton - seemed to be finding his feet at left back, then went to central midfield, where he would have been more effective with a better radar.
Kevin O'Connor - good at right back, good at right midfield - maybe we should try him between the sticks if Stuart Nelson doesn't recover in time for next Saturday?
Skulason - decent enough close passing, needs to turn and go forwards more. Very stupid tackle on Steven Evans.
Hutch - played like only Hutch can.
Tabb - ran confidently, but tended to go sideways too much.
Rankin - waste of space as a striker, but after he moved to right midfield, he was probably one of our better players today.
Owusu - signs of a partnership emerging with Campbell, shame he missed narrowly as it would probably have turned the game around for us.
DJ - he's got to start. Looks lively, very fast and has an eye on the goal. We were much better after he came on.
Tillen - Looks to be a very good left back coming forwards. Great shot from 35 yards. Wasn't tested severely in defence. Tough call between him and Frampton.
Fitzgerald - came on as a late sub for Owusu and didn't really do a great deal.
Mesinho - or Monsanto as the Woking announcer called him. Er, hardly had a kick.
Not a great performance, we missed Paul Brooker. I hope his injury is better than I heard today.
Banana said:The chances of us getting more players now that Broncos aren't playing at GP next season are less than zero - a long long way less than zero. In fact as the Broncos' absence has "punched a large hole in this years accounts" I would say that we'd have to get some plum draws in any cup runs before money can be added to the playing budget.
Brentford Bob said:No they don't.
They are to gain match fitness. Nothing more IMO.
