Wolfsburg tickets

Hi everyone,

I completed the 92 a few years ago including Griffin Park, and am trying to catch up with new grounds. I've given up trying to get tickets in the Premier League, but cup matches and friendlies give me a better chance.

Managed to wrangle tickets to Spurs v Bayern on 10th August, and have just seen Brentford v Wolfsburg is the day before, so could make a weekend of it.

Bit disappointed it's a members only game - is there anyway of buying tickets without a membership? Bit costly to shell out £45 for a membership I'll likely never use again.

PS Last memory of Griffin Park was us winning, and Neil Shipperley ballooning a penalty over the bar! (2006/07 I reckon)

I’d be surprised if it didn’t go to general sale nearer the game.

Yeah, I did wonder. Just wasn't sure what the appetite from your fans would be for that fixture, a week before the season starts and with decent pricing

You'll get a ticket. They will offer 1000 TAPs for it 24 hours before the game.

(i don't expect you to understand this nuanced post, but don't concern yourself with that)

Relatively little I'd have thought. My guess would be a crowd of 5-8,000.

I’m trying at the moment to buy 4 tickets for this game but each time I choose my own seats, I’m unable to proceed to checkout. However, if I let the site choose the tickets for me, there’s no problem except that they choose seats which I don’t particularly want. Has anyone else on here had this problem?

Your own seat was only guaranteed till Thursday

Thanks for replying. Our season tickets are for the North Stand. I’m hoping to sit somewhere different for the Wolfsburg game and was looking in the South Stand. I presumed that when looking at the stadium plan and clicking on ‘choose your own seats’ (or whatever the wording is), I would be able to select seats that were shown to be available. It allowed me to select 4 but then there was no obvious next step which would allow me to put them in my basket. Any ideas?

Firstly, make sure you set the quantity you want (and are entitled to). Then when you highlight the seats you want you choose Select. You then have to select the ticket type for each of the seats. You should then be able to add them to your basket.

At least that's how the ticketing system normally works. I've just added 4 tickets that way and I now have to assign them to each member in my Family & Friends group.

Will be a decent crowd but no way this will sell out. A lot of people away on holiday.

No problems buying my season ticket seat yesterday,all of the seats were still in green on the seat map around me in the north stand.

I tried the other day but the site was messing about though so it seems a bit of a lottery.

I've been struggling to get junior tickets on-line even with memberships, says there is an error. Ticket office advise I need to call them to rectify. Is anyone else having this issue?

Oh, it even says on line 'free' on the drop down menu? Anyway, I'll work out when I speak to them. Its only a fiver either way I suppose which is still fine by me :)

Looks like theres loads left in there so might not be the experience im after ;)

A nice little puzzle for you.

My mate is a brand new member and would like two tickets for Wolfsburg. He puts two tickets into the system and would like to reassign one of those tickets to his son (under 10) to build up a history.

I believe the profile allows him to manage the tickets

Why does this message appear when attempting to reassign?

Looking at the pic, he is trying to assign an adult ticket to junior, I may be wrong but that is what it looks like.

I got the same message trying to assign a ticket to my Wife who is on my F&F list but isn't a member. Presumably that's the issue here too but someone more knowledgeable than me will confirm no doubt.

Two possible reasons, they werent a member when tickets went on sale which usually means you cant buy. I think this was dropped for the friendlies though, but when buying the membership you have to wait until 11am the following day to purchase a match ticket.

Think it may be that the Dad is a new member but not sure if his Son is?

Yep that's the best shout. I've always found them very helpful when I've called them for any changes needed.

Is there a guide to what sections (blocks) get access to what? (Mainly dugout bar)
I can't make head nor tail of the ticketing site and don't know, other than the seat location, what the different prices get you access to (if anything).

My mate says just walk along the front to s102 and walk up into bar ?

I did wonder about that based on the graphic of the stadium layout in the ticketing section!
I assume, based on this, there's no barrier, or human checking tickets, to stop you doing it!

My mate says he is a dug out st holder but has done it twice with no issue
