shame about the game itself. mental scenes at the beer garden here last night. i can't count to high numbers, so i'll just give my best estimate - there must have been a bazillion people there. the true winners of the World Cup were the people that owned that place

Dreadful advert for the game thanks to the attitude and violence of the Dutch which appears to have been pre meditated...shall never view them again in the same light.

and Biscuits for the Espanish divers. Robben is horrible too, he has much class whereas these are cloggers, therefore he is sh*tier as he doesn't need to do it.
When I were a lad you did all you could to conceal the fact that somebody had hurt you in a challenge, that was the same in the prof game. Nowadays they all scream, dive and have faces of total anguish. Then they jump up and take a free kick.

I half wanted the dutch to win to make up for the 70's but as the game went on last night i was desperate for spain to win.
The dutch are a disgrace. Van Bumhole should have been sent off in 5 games so far this world cup incluing the quarters, the semi and the final. how he has got away with such brutal and consistent thuggary for a whole career let alone the last 6 matches is just incredible. He should join MK mongs.
What really wound me up was the way the dutch protested the goal and surrounded webb at the end. i hope fifa deal with that, how they can feel hard done by is fk joke.
I know what webb was doing, trying not to ruin the spectacle and trying to treat them like adults but holland got within 4 mins of a penalty shoot out and a likely win. I would rather he sent 4 of their thugs off and spain won 5.0 and it woud have been the right thing to do.

It looked like the Dutch spent so much time chasing Spanish shadows that they were hanging on for pens as extra time went on. Spain kept playing despite the strong arm tactics and I was pleased to see them win.
How the guy who studded Xabi Alonso in the chest stayed on the pitch was beyond me.
As for Van Bommell, how he got away with it throughout the competition is baffling.

I decided to take the dogs for a walk at half time, I was ahem..... a little merry.I got over keen and veered off through a corn field.At 9 o'clock I hadnt got a clue how to find my way back so had to call the wife to come and shout so I get a bearing on which way to head back.Got back to see some of the extra time.

Shocking that 3.8 MILLION thought it would be better to watch a match on ITV instead of BBC, maybe they were all Robbie Earle's associates...

If a game is televised by both channels I will always choose BBC.
I hate the fact that the ITV coverage is broken up by adverts.
