what a surprise.

1-0 Wycombe

Wycombe Updates

My fault!!!

I turned on Bees World Commentary just in time to hear the first goal....and the second.

I'll switch off and go to bed instead now.............

Wycombe Updates

On top

Now we've got'em. Wycombe haven't scored in three whole minutes. That's showing them!

Wycombe Updates

it's certainly been a sh*tty week for brentford football club

if some changes are made at half-time maybe something can be salvaged
but wally will of course wait until ten minutes before the end before throwing on peters

two more defeats and things are going to become distinctly uncomfortable

Wycombe Updates

Oh dear

Peters sent off (77 mins) professional foul

Wycombe Updates

3-0 Wycombe.

WHERE THE FU.CK IS THAT NEW STRIKER WALLY

Wycombe Updates

I fear there's a lot more to it than just a lack of strikers....

Wycombe Updates

it's now 4-0

great to see the players rewarding all those who walked to wycombe
they're a disgrace to the shirt

i think you will find the word 'freefall' in use this week

Wycombe Updates

4 blxxdy nil. Very disappointed. No excuses Wally today please.

4-0

You gotta laugh :( have a go at me or not, im only going to the QPR game this season. You wonder why? Support the team, what difference does that make? 40 odd people walked 25 miles and raised a lot of money today to hopefully keep a lot of those players at the club when we as supporters own BFC. They really repaid it didnt they? :nono:

It was an awful performance and speaking as a walker (no I did say walker :D ) I think the players should have given us their coach to get us back to Griffin Park! What I witnessed today was passionate walkers giving their all for the club and players whom didn't look as if they'd seen each other before. But all anger must be vented at Ron Noades.....are you passionate about anything Noades?

You didn't go to Barnsley at home in October, and even said

And that was when we were only just outside the play-offs: What exactly did you expect from our team this season? I'm sure the team won't miss your "support".

Wycombe Updates

When i go to see a FOOTBALL match, i want to see FOOTBALL, not long balls being pumped up in the air. Kids or not, keeping the ball on the ground is not that hard.

"We as supporters own BFC"

Doesnt sound like you are a bees fan to me mate. If you are only going to the QPR game this year, you have lost your right to say anything about anything.

Not a bees fan?

I got off my arse last year and walked the 26 odd miles last year to Wycombe, and to only have about 25 people do it last year was pathetic. Prehaps people who don't do the walk and dont raise money havent got the right to say anything?

Dont think so.

Wycombe Updates

Well said Lewis! Supporting the club is surely also about sticking around long term. I've missed loads of home games this season due to my protest against Noades. I have since caved in but throughout my heart has always been with the club and funds have been going to Bees United. There were 811 away fans at Wycombe yesterday and out of them only 40 walked. I don't know what the away fans turnout was like when Lewis walked but to be one of 25 people that walked that day surely earns Lewis respect for now and forever?!

OK fair enough but explain why you aren't going to any games other than QPR this year?

Maybe he will, maybe he wont, but I am happy to explain why i'm not going to any more games this season.

Yesterday hurt me a lot after f*cking up my ankles to complete the journey there. What I saw was a dispirited Brentford side (with some help from Noades of course) look vastly inferior to a poor but more experienced side, for the third time in a week.

* In my opinion the Silver Parasite has been killing the club off the pitch, and the effects can now be seen on the pitch.

* Walley and the players have to take their share of the blame for what happens on the pitch as well though. Walley has done wonders so far, but the past dozen performances mean that Somner, Jay Smith, Hutchinson and co will be getting the size of the audience they deserve.

So am I being unreasonable in not going to anymore matches this season? No.

* I was out of work until last month. I deliberately searched a job with Monday to Friday hours so I could watch the Brentford play that I remember - not the one we have seen in the last 12 games.

* Now i'm back at work, i'm preparing a standing order for BU at last.

* Bees United will also be given an additional payment for every home match I fail to attend.

In closing, I would rather contribute additional funds to BU (funds in the true meaning of the word) than continue to throw them into a hole just so geniuses like Somner can have an attendance of more than 5,000 backing him (or in Constantine's, case booing him). Noades doesn't deserve our money, BU needs our money.

Wycombe Updates

OK all that is important-vital even. But so is supporting the team on the pitch by going to the matches. If you now have a fulltime job and dont work saturdays and can afford to go, the reasons you have given for not going dont wash.

One of the main reasons the club is going down the pan is that we have far too many "armchair" fans who only crawl out of the woodwork when it is a big game. I'm not suggesting that you or Lewis) fall into that category but maybe both of you should reconsider your stance. The team needs your support.

Because the QPR game is a "big" game and i would like to see that. I "probabley" will not be attending any more matches this season because the football is crap, and i dont see it getting any better. The bottom line is, were gonna win those 2/3 games that will make us safe. And 2 out of the last 3 seasons have ended like this, mid table obscurity, and it aint very fun.

I just haven't enjoyed it this year, only the 5-0 blackpool game sticks out at all. There are no good footballers at our club to make me want to go back and see it.

I won't be getting a season ticket next year, mainly cos of the price, i will still "pick and choose" some matches, and who knows if were good, i might attend every game :)

I will be starting full-time work when im 18 (at a company who cant employ me til im 18), fingers crossed, and even though the money will be quite good for someone my age, £350 is a bit steep.

Don't get me wrong i do love BFC, but when they lose 3 games in a row, which in those 3 matches, we've had 2 shots on target? maybe 3? Its not very fun. Infact its been like that all season. I will always be a bees fan, ill be there when they need me. But they dont need me this season for the 2/3 wins, which will all be scrappy 1-0ners.

Last season it was about 1000 away fans. We lost 5-3 :(

Erm..............

Hunty, Sonko (both out injured @ present:( )? Smith(P)? Rowly (when he behaves himself)?

Wycombe Updates

Smithy is a class keeper, but you dont go to matches to watch a keeper. Sonko is a good defender. Hunty has amazing work rate, but his distribution is poor. And Rowlands is hardly picked now a days, and it wont be before too long before we wont see him again.

I was one of the 1,000 that attended last season's game but couldn't do the walk on that occasion, if I wanted to, as a few weeks before I had twisted/jarred my ankle.

Vowed @ the time never to return to Adams Park as I can't stand the place. BUT......

walked there yesterday, legs are killing me today!!

I still haven't seen us win @ Adams Park in the league. If another walk is organised next year, I might do it again but may be I should walk to Wycombe but not actually go in....think I'm a bit of a jinx @ that ground! :(

Wycombe Updates

Its not you Debbee...its me.
I too walked there and have never seen us win there either.
They way my ankles feel right now I think its highly unlikely I'll be visiting there by foot again as I'm sure the swelling still wouldnt have gone down by then.

Wycombe Updates

For the stayaways,

firstly it's harsh to criticise Lewis and Sweepy individually, just because they admit to doing what 1,000-odd Bees fans are clearly doing at the moment

But there are certain points to make. Lewis, you claim you can't come at the mo cos we've lost three in a row. Oh dear oh dear. If people took attitudes like that, no f*cker would have turned up against Cardiff last week (i'm sure the 4,000 or so who did didn't come expecting a win!). You support your team thru thick and thin, that's the idea isn't it? The first season i got hooked on the bees was our last relegation, i didn't keep coming back for the standard of football!!

Sweepy, i hope if you're not going to come to games that also means you're going to stop your pathetic vitrioles from the comfort of your armchair (recent home games have included stupid moaning on here from you about our soft defending and our poor striking - how the **** can you comment about either if you're not there  ). Fair play for your continued and increased support of Bees United, but to support the club, support the team, and comments slating the young players in the team are not supportive and not appreciated

See you lads back at GP when we're successful again (gloryhunting Bees fans   :D)

Wycombe Updates

We were a total disgrace today. I dont normally slate the team but there was no effort today.
Somner and Dobson had there worst games for the club and whether Wally thinks that the Peters sending off made a dfifference, it did not. There was no way we were going to score out there.
I can take it if we lose games, but what i cant take is an inept and gutless performance like we saw on Sat.
