It's often the case that a good crop of youngsters - there are some good players who have moved up into the Development Squad, after all, NLB - is followed by a crop that isn't quite as good. It's exacerbated if a couple of the better players turn out for the older team. However, I have been surprised at the results this season. I did feel that even with lower calibre players (and I'm not saying that they are) good coaching would have pulled a couple of wins or draws out of the bag. Particularly surprised given that fact that our even younger teams did so well in the Milk Cup.
Not surprised that he's gone as the League results seem to be getting worse not better (though 0-9 seems to have been after he left?).
