Zero Tolerance

Things are getting heated on here and that's only going to increase. It's therefore a good time to remind people of what it says in the CoC.

4. Personal abuse of other Griffin Park Grapevine members is not permitted. If you disagree with what someone else says, say so and use whatever arguments you like to support your views. However personal attacks only suggest that you cannot support your views in any other way and are not allowed. If you are attacked by someone, use the 'report to moderator' function and the post will be looked at by the Mods. Do not revenge like with like.

Please don't abuse other members and please offer them respect if they have a different view to yours. Offending posts will be deleted.

Can I ask why we have so many Scott thread out on this board.

I've made it clear i'm still behind him, and I still am, but it is really depressing to move from one thread to another about exactly the same thing. In fact it makes me want to not come back to this site to be honest.

What's you suggestion? What threads should be open and which closed?

I have closed the October MoM thread and Who Should Replace AS. We therefore have one open. TBH though, it's proving impossible to keep the subject to one thread - as has been the case before.

I just find it a bit odd, that this hasn't been picked up as it normally is.

For example do we need Andy Scott is it time and should Andy Scott go by Saturday?

You want a go at moderating? It's a thankless task and whatever you do people think you're a **** despite this being one of the best football club forums in the whole wide world. Probably the only one with more members than the club's average attendance :D

Had a go in the past and got sacked! I think this site is great and I realise that alot of people put a lot of effort into it, but the past few weeks have just been really hard to come on here.

As I find it really hard to see Andy Scott given so much abuse constantly from every corner. People are entitled to their opinion, but some of it has gone far too far and I think people need to remember that he's still human and what he's done both as a player, manager and even supporter after going to Oxford show the level of service the man has given the club, and in all honesty I hate seeing him turn into this figure of hate. Furthermore while I believe he may be a GPGER from just after his move to Oxford, whether he is or not, I'm sure he's aware of some of the opinions, and I just don't think he deserves that.

I had a similar problem with the amount of abuse Rosenoir got (although that was more to do with the boos at the ground), that picture of him walking past the paddock as a broken man, still makes me sad now, while he deserved to go he didn't deserve that.

I don't find it pleasant and some of the posts and agendas on here are appalling, self-centred and damaging. IMO. Can you imagine though if we tried to censor it?

I can't imagine it's been easy and censoring it would probably make it far worse. I don't envy the position you are in but I just thought i'd put forward a thought in the hope it could help.

I note that you have acted on it, and I thank you for that.

Very little my police force can do. There have been cuts as you are aware.

The only thing that will help right now is for people to have a bit of a lie down and hopefully they might wake up feeling less like jizzing their frustrated angry manmilk all over their keyboards.

can see Holysmit's point, every thread is descending into AS arguments, but the moderators do a great job. if AS was a better manager, we wouldn't have this problem :nono:

Like Tree said, it's all his fault anyway and I'm yet to see a post that felt too personal, there again I don't get shocked too easily or get threatened or scared by spiders, mice or anything else that seems to have an effect on ladies or men who think like them.:sorted:

You haven't seen them because they've been deleted. And they're not necessarily directed at Scott but other supporting with a different view.

Because I've been wanting him to go for a long time and feel nasty for thinking that way. I've not been slow in coming forward but never have I been personal, you get made to feel ashamed at wanting him out.

why does everyone hate you lot ? ps i know scott is bad for this club look at the division in every one allen played crap football and we loved him. Scott also played bostock out of position on the right the best attacking centre mid we have had he played right mid hes useless
