Oscar had a bit of a strop after he got beaten in the 200m, complaining about the length of the Brazilians blades.

Yep bad looser he is getting worse than the French saying we have an unfair advantage because our chairs are better and we are only winning because of technology

Yeah, unfair technology that they claim has resulted in the French manufactured tyres being rounder than anybody elses!

His complaint is a bit like Ellie Simmonds complaining that the girl in the next lane did not have dwarfism and therefore had an advantage as she was nearly twice her height.

He was beaten fair and square. Wonder what he would have said if the British guy from Saturday had beaten him?

Funnily enough, it appears there's been as much passion and more controversy in the Paralympics than the London 2012.

Shows how important it is to the competitors with displays of frustration and emotion in most events - we've seen outbursts and strong opinons being voiced in The velodrome, track and field, Eton Dorney and in the table tennis. Think it's exceeded my expectations and been absolutely brilliant. I've nearly forgotten about the disability element and started to focus on the events, the exceptional performances (10.45 for 100M) and the number of World records being broken. Last night Dave Weir race was as exciting as Mo Farrah 5000 M.

Try now, I've just got an evening pass to the Excel for tomorrow for £5. Not sure what I'll be seeing yet but it was the first time I've seen anything other than the message tickets aren't available.

The pass doesn't work on Athletics or Aquatics, but anything else in the Copper Box/Eton Manor Tennis/Basketball Arena etc.

Just had a look and I have a choice of medal events in the Boccia, Powerlifting or Wheelchair fencing or a couple of matches in the Women's Sitting Volleyball.

I went to the swimming today with Trandy. It was fantastic. The bravery and character of the athletes is simply awesome.

The Park is great too.

Would love Athletic tickets for Saturday night.:bound:

Off to athletics on Wednesday evening - only started watching properly yesterday but I am hooked and can't wait to see the Olympic stadium full to the rafters

Crowd at Stadium were awesome, cheering every athlete on, same it was ruined by booing of George Osborne giving out the medals for one event

Watching the blind 5 a side On TV while waiting to get into the ExCel and it dawns on me that it must be like being a QPR fan - some moments of skill & optimism peppered with many more moments where the team appears to have no clue where either the goal or sometimes even the ball is. Think it would be a better game if they allowed 1 partially sighted outfield player per team.

Think that was due to the disability allowance change.

Got tweet alert today re availability and nearly wet my knickers when I saw tickets for Saturday evening released..........then it said "none currently available" :scratch:

The only other option that I know of now is something like Thomas Cook

Agree about disability cuts (Mother in Law is one of the most disabled people I have met) but he has a job to do and whether he has done a good job or not he is not a Saddam or a Hitler

Channel 4 had an uncovered doctor working at one of their offices , cancer sufferers have been penalized, You must have chemotherapy not any orally or radiotherapy is considered.. so you have to job seek.. pathetic:banghead:

did anyone watch the qualifying rounds of the wheelchair pole vault last night? It was insane! The noise they make as they land is mental.

Whilst the coverage, by Channel 4, is generally poor, the whole experiencing is humbling. All the contestents have my total admiration and at times it brings tears to the eyes.

2nd Gold for Zanardi.

I think he will defend his titles i Rio rather than bow out.

Would like to have seen more of the cycling from Brands Hatch.

Just back from the last night of athletics at the Olympic Stadium. What a superb atmosphere, finished off with an excellent run by a certain Mr Pistorios. Great night!!

All coming to a close tonight. It has been a fantastic few weeks of sports watching so many with incredible abilities.

I believe there has been a big shift in the respect of paralympics and I hope it carries on.

Not too sure my boys can wait until the Commonwealth games.;)
