The forecast is for rain and a bit of snow until the weekend when it is sunny and 6 degrees so i am hoping it will ok especially as i will be in Blackpool by friday afternoonLook on the internet weather forecast....it does help

Friday 6pm on Virgin tickets and you pay a £10 fee IIRC.
As they are single tickets you will pay £20 to cancel both ways, if you can get to a station and do it and if the game is called off at that point.
If you've paid a little more than £20 it's not worth the bother.

Some of my mates have paid £60 so it might be worth their while. I think you can ring up and cancel too, I'm sure I've done that before.
No cancellation policy on cheap Travelodges though...

I've spoken on the phone this morning to someone who lives in burnley and I've decided to to abandon my plans to go on Saturday. It's disappointing but I was intending to travel on Friday and stay over and with what seems only a 50/50 chance of the game being on, the odds aren't worth risking.
I'm not trying to influence anyone else's decision and I desperately hope the game does go ahead but for me, the potential for wasted time and expense can't really be justified.
