It's because Charlton don't run that fleet of free coaches full of Kentish people to away games. The Medway towns must be empty when Charlton play at home.
What about the millwall game years ago when pinamonte scored that screamer? I remember turning up at the turnstile and trying to get my normal seat in e block and being told that this was being used for millwall fans. I had to go in new road, I seem to remember they fenced off part of ealing road for them too.
Didn't Middlesboro have the New Road one game?
Cardiff game was hate corner at it's best especially when Herman scored the winner!! Proper passion and support.
No they had a spot bother after though !
Leicester had the far end (by the Wendy House) of the New road terrace in 1992/93.![]()
That's when a young Julian Joachim played for them. Didn't we lose 3-1!?
Can't remember if it was them or Sunderland, but one NE team had loads in Braemar seats, I was in the paddock. Their chants of "Subutteo!" and "Mickey Moose Cloob, Mickey Moose club allo" still burn...the Swines!

Wasn't there a Milk Cup game against them when the (presumably) Baby Squad acted up and decked a WPC?
Sunderland. First home game of 1987/88 season. Lost 2-0. Official attendance of 7,000-ish. :suspect:
Lost 1-0 mate, i cancelled my first lads holiday ( greece holiday fans ) to attend. Paul Lemon the scorer i believe.
It was 1-0. Keith Bertschin was the scorer.....
Number 5 on the list.

They got sorted out in the Paddock and outside the Brickie's before the game as well.

If we split our East Stand any more the whole ground would collapse. Seriously though, I can't remember what it's called (is it Frazer House chaps?), but the closest of the Green Dragon Lane tower blocks offers a great view from the upper floor hallways if you're really stuck. I would say the top 7 floors will be fine with room for approx 70 people on each landing. So that's another 400-500 of you sorted. Failing that, you could try Banana Prowse I suppose? Hope this helpsA few times at the Valley when the away end has sold out we have split the East stand for more away fans just wasen't sure you could do the same?
At Ninian Park? same season?

I'm sorted for a ticket but I know dozens who are not.
We played Stevenege last month and were told by them that we couldn't have anymore tickets once we sold out our 1300 or so but then they gave us another 400 on the side.
So thats the reason why I asked the question!
If it could have been done that would have been great it just means now that there will be quite a few Charlton in home areas.
I'm pretty sure if the boot was on the other foot you would do the same?
Cheers Fellas

Remember that day well. The "family stand" started chucking half eaten burgers at us.Went to chuck one back and got threatened with arrest.Managed to get a beer before the game though.Yeah, I'd agree with that. Mental celebrations from them. I remember blokes in the 'family section' below picking their kids up to gob on us, coaches given police escorts in and out of the ground.
One of the most intimidating atmospheres I can remember.
One of the memory men will know - gave over the whole of New Road for (I think) a Sunday game.
Cheers Fellas

No, not that one.
the Easter game, Swindon were on a promotion run.

yep, fair enough.....if we were in the same position we would certainly be doing the same.....expect to see loads of charlton in the new road as the stewards are next to useless in there and the old bill even more so.......will be home fans getting grief from the club as usual if anything happensso im going to sit very far away from hate corner just in case
lol
and yes, we really should be giving you more tickets but we actually cant.....its bleedin embarrasing yet again
Not as many as Brighton fans do .How many did they take roughly?
