While the LFC website says he's been discharged "to continue his recovery at home" - seems positive news.

Btw, did anyone notice that AH only gained 26 Scotland caps? Granted he didn't debut until he was nearly 24, and retired while still only 31. Alex Ferguson didn't take him to Mexico 86 because he and (predecessor) Jock Stein felt he was never sufficiently committed to the NT. Of course Scotland had Aberdeen's Miller and McLeish at the heart of their defence, a formidable duo; but as against that, Hansen was a mainstay of the outstanding Liverpool team of the period. What would Scotland give for even one of those three tonight?

Anyhow, hope Hansen recovers fully, and soon.
