Tell me about the lack of goals please, last time i looked at the table we were the second highest scorers in the division

My comment was meant to relate to overall performances which doesn't always correlate with goals scored. Since l posted the comment l'm pleased to see that our wide attackers appear to be turning a corner with their form. Previously they weren't providing an outlet to build attacking play and goals weren't coming from them. So we tended to look for Toney with long balls which conceded too much ball to the oppo andwe were massively reliant on him to score our goals..
Things are looking up and maybe Ghoddos is getting into the mix as well. Norgaard back is also a huge plus. We shall see over the next few games.

I get the stats bit but downside was losing possession, not providing an outlet with good hold up play, missing sitters when they came and generally not releasing the ball quickly enough.
I'm old school. The eyes have it. Stats are helpful but not in isolation. I seem to recall stats quoted which made Josh McEachran into our best ball winner. My eyes tell me that Sergi and Bryan have upped a gear in the last two games. I hope it continues.It has been a significant element in better performances as has tightening our defensive play.

would tie in with him not playing in the last B team game. Guess we decided he wasn't quite up to scratch and with Canos' improvement and maybe a.n.other in the pipeline didn't feel it was worth it. next...

I think we need a few. We have played so many games this season already and injuries could happen at anytime. If we had wanted Green we would have signed him by now so he could help with that.

We've got players returning from injury though and possibly from loan so we'll be quite well stocked come Jan. We might want to try and up the quality a little in wide areas but Sergi's form and Ghoddos' positive display v Newcastle might make us think twice? Equally though if a really good prospect became available (Hack?) I'd imagine we'd go for it..
