Bees - Blackburn

Given that ours is one of only three matches with anything riding on it, will it be chosen by Sky?

Bees - Blackburn

The title is still up for grabs.

When will Sky make the announcement?

Bees - Blackburn

Got mine.

Loks like another decent attendance.

I'd have tolerated a loss next week if it aided the cause of sending the Bush Whackers down. However, it seems you can't rely on a Warburton for anything nowadays, so a good tonking will acceptable. In the process, sending that t**ser Graham, who turned US down, DOWN - would add the iceing for the summer.

Bees - Blackburn

Confirmed, live on Sky

Bees - Blackburn

That will bugger the average gate then!!!

It's a no brainer for me I will watch it on Sky. If it was a sat midday game I would have watched it at GP. Bees will cop the Sky money though.

Bees - Blackburn

Brilliant, can't get to the game but will be home so can enjoy it

Bees - Blackburn

Full strength team please. Good chance to show what we're all about.

Lightweight!

Yeah I know. Start feeling it by the end of the season. Did not help that I missed the 7 30 out of Clapham last week. Caught the 8 . 30 To Salibury. 10pm and I could not get a train from Salibury to Westbury. Had to get my Mrs to pick me up from salisbury. Not best pleased. Got home about midnight. Have a good Summer.

Bianca is going to be there, it will be your last opportunity to pass on your regards to her.

Good to get some more tv revenue. Wonder how much the club receives for each game shown live?

Bees - Blackburn

Happy days.....I too can't get down to the game, due the stupid kick off times!
Glad the club gets some more cash as well.

Been a blast this season and can't wait for next, have a good summer all,see you soon.

The M3 is shut between junctions 3 and 2 for those travelling from the west

Thanks for the tipoff. Whole weekend in both directions I see.

I downloaded the Highways England app for info like this, but can't work out what it's supposed to do or how to use it!

Bees - Blackburn

Excellent news for those of us working at 7am - difficult to have a commentary playing, but keeping an eye on the TV, now that's a different matter... Plus, this team deserves to have been on the TV a lot more than we have this year.

Bees - Blackburn

I never watch on tele but nice treat for those who a distance to travel at end of long season.

Bees - Blackburn

Perhaps good news in some respects, but still detest the control that Sky have over The EFL, and every club in it.

Bees - Blackburn

Yes I agree, best part of £100 to travel from Lincoln with the ticket cost. Sky do seem to pull the strings!! QUOTE=DavidgRushden;3062236]Perhaps good news in some respects, but still detest the control that Sky have over The EFL, and every club in it.[/QUOTE]

Going to sound like a silly question perhaps, but how many times have we been on TV this season?

More often than not, I am at the game, so I haven't the foggiest!

Although in this case the KO remains unchanged so fans aren't put out and we make up the revenue we lost from the Newcastle farce.

So all good.

Bees - Blackburn

I'm in Wales then so was praying the cards would like up like this! Leeds not winning just earned the club the extra TV revenue money too!

Attendances may be affected but given it's the final game I wouldn't say by much...

Bees - Blackburn

I wonder how many complaints we would get if we were to play 10 reserves against Blackburn, a la Huddersfield

I'd be one of the people complaining.

I want us to field as strong a side as possible and give Blackburn a nice thrashing to send them off to division one with our compliments. Would be a nice end to what started as a bit of a wobbly season that ultimately turned out to be a very good one.

Ignore Forest and Birmingham, their destiny is in their own hands, let's just thrash what's put in front of us for our last game of the season. 4 or 5 nil will do very nicely please.

Bees - Blackburn

Beat Blackburn and we'll finish the season with exactly the same record as for the last 9 games last season....
W 6, D 2, L 1, very possibly in 9th place again, although with 2 more points (67 against 65) than last year........:sorted:

Good spot. It was p9 w7 d1 l1 last season but regardless, what makes it better this year IMO is that the teams we have beaten have all been playing for survival or play off pushes and games have been far more intense this time around and we've more that met the challenges.

I quite agree.Brentford should look after themselves and let their opponents worry about theirselves.
We'll beat them and it will be a fine end to the season and a good preperation for next year's promotion push!
Up the Bees!

We need to do everything we can to win. A lot of supporters will be travelling a long way at an inconvenient time (including me). We want to finish as high as possible with as many points as we can.

Really hope we play our strongest side and put them to the sword. Forget other clubs, only loyalty is to your home fans.

Agreed to a certain extent, but how about if by playing a couple of 'youngsters' it put us in a better position to know where we stood for next year......and improved our chances of a top 6 finish??........

In his article some very good comments about us by Simon Garner, and he loved paving at Griffin Park

blackburn can lose and still stay up.

Forest have a 2 goal head start on them.

Blackburn have now sold out away end.
Does that mean it will be previous purchasers only ??

I could find a positive about any of Brum, Forest and Blackburn going down but I'd never want us to be a team that didn't set up to win any league game. It's awful enough in cup competitions, unacceptable other than where we have genuine injury problems in a league match. There was nothing at all riding on our game away at Huddersfield last season but I'm very glad we went for it and got a 5-1 win. And, if Blackburn are to stay up, I want them to have had to fight for it against us. If Forest are 3-0 down against Ipswich and we are 1-0 up, if Blackburn sit back and think "job done", I want us to be pressing forward for a second to make the game safe because that attitude would mean they didn't really deserve to stay up through their own efforts on the day. Although many would enjoy the spectacle of the messiah taking Forest down, there's also a lot of fun to be had in baiting a team that you are relegating live and in front of you (one of the few exceptions would be at Orient now where there's not really any joy to be had in goading fans whose club has been utterly trashed by a terrible owner).
