Got the e-mail from club telling about trialling Bees reward before Brighton home game. All seems ok and instructions quite straight forward.

However, don't see the QR-code on my app. Maybe it appears later but does anybody have the same issue?

Club does nice thing, club gets slagged off, club wonders why they bother.

If admission prices go up 10% next week though, consider my tune changed.

No, TAPs are for tickets. Remember Kurt split them from Loyalty points, and now the latter is coming back.

I don't have any Bees Awards banner on my profile. Logged out and again in, no change. Surprised? Not really.

Edit: I can see it now. I had to log in to customize the shirt in the middle of profile page. That makes a lot of sense, of course. Maybe I try the QR code tomorrow anyway.

Long story short, emails exchanged between myself and the Head of Digital around 10pm last night resolved the problem. Turns out that there was a bug impacting the display of the Bees Reward banner (and the Ride Share banner) on some, if not all, Android devices.

It should be visible now - it is on mine.

Yeah that profile page is very flaky and slow to load (even on a perfect fast fibre broadband connection). Took a fair few attempts going back and forth to profile page to get the login option to appear. Now the rewards QR option appears once logged in.
Suspect it’ll be incredibly pot luck on mobile reception at the stadium (especially if logged out by then and needing to get back in).

Qr code scanners are a bit rubbish, not really obvious where to place your device for it to scan.

Just thinking about though it says before kick off this was after the game so maybe I wasn't entitled to the discount after all. Oh well !

I am well informed. They are doing it on a stand by stand basis and on a controlled group. First up was all Season Ticket Holders located in the North Stand. Next test game will be the ST holders in the South Stand, before going for it big time when launching to the ST holders in the West Stand.

I have a well informed idea. First, they did a random pilot on 140 people. They are doing it on a controlled group and Saturday's was Season Ticket Holders in the North Stand. Next test game will be the ST Holders in the South Stand before ironing out any niggles to launch it in the West Stand.

Can't be right, I've had the offer for the last 4 home games as a STH in the South Stand.

Needed a fair bit of trial and error to get the code to work, even with the aid of a member of staff, but it worked in the end. £3 off a hot dog, which was alright. Onions were provided.

Don't understand what we get/got or how to use it! Long Term ST holder Nortn Stand and do sometimes have the Cumberland sausage thing to eat. Tend to ignore the rubbish emails from The Club as they don't seem to link through to anything.

Yes, showing on the Home Screen of the App and when I click the Banner a QR code gets generated. On iPhone, didn't have to reinstall app etc. Simply appeared.

And logged in and out a few times as recommended in the email if the banner wasn't displaying....
A bit crap, but cant get over excited about it tbh.
