Why dont the club have a shop in one of the nearby shopping centres. Pretty much every club has one. Was in Wimbledon town centre a few weeks ago and AFC Wimbledon had a nice shop front. As do Watford. Why are Brentford in the dark ages
Charlton too.

The Club should have profile data on fans that purchase and they ought to be able to, from addresses, work out the central point of all fans that are in the same and close profiles. The closest shopping centre to that would be the one to target.

Mind you, it’d probably be somewhere like Basingstoke!

Bees Superstore

Its really poorly set out and crammed.

On match day i just don't bother which disappoints the little people.

For those of us that had to navigate the Braemar Road toilets in the last few years, going in the club shop on a matchday has elements of that experience.

The shopping centre that would get loads of visitors but without the Westfield price tag is the one by IKEA in Hammersmith (though I guess that’s Fulham territory).

That said, I really think the old Kew Bridge distribution centre has loads of potential for the pre‑game experience. Since Mercedes built their fancy new showroom across the road, that old site’s barely being used. Brentford could snap it up cheap and do something proper with it.

Imagine a big car park there (matchday parking would pay for itself in a couple of years), and then on top, a proper club shop, maybe a few bars and restaurants for before and after the game. It would be buzzing on matchdays, and it’d bring in decent money for the club too.

Fan zone would be good with some screens up, food / drink / music, football in the community etc.
Would add to the atmosphere outside the ground which is non existent.

I'm glad you don't work in my finance department. Those sums are not adding up mate!

No collections on matchday is ridiculous. I can understand they don't want more people as the space is already too crowded but having a time where you can collect, perhaps up until an hour before KO seems like a fair compromise.
Especially as most don't live close to the ground and getting there after work is a no go.
Even more so when you'll be there on Saturday or the Saturday after.

I noticed a porta cabin outside the store now, where the parking spaces are. Not sure if it's the one that was outside the West/South stand or something separate.

Seems odd though.

Having issues with a delivery from the online store. Anyone else had lengthy delays for online orders ?

I ordered the new shirt on the 5th. On Friday the 11th I received an email to say it’s been dispatched should take 4-5 days. Checked yesterday with the Yodel ref number given. It said still in store. Checked today and it said the same ? I phoned the club shop they said they don’t handle online it’s a separate dept. They dont have a phone number just a email address. I emailed and got the automatic response back was we will get back to you in 1-2 days. Really not acceptable service.

Definitely does have potential . Another company did purchase the buildings (old magnet kitchen) and have turned it into warehouses but they have sat empty for pretty much a year now with apparently noone renting them

Nowt wrong with the porta cabin in the Braemar Rd forecourt .... it was once known to have three potential customers in there at the same time ... none were fatties from the Paddock though! :hat:

Our club shop and online shop are so shockingly bad that you feel they are almost doing it for a joke to see just how incompetent they can be !

How do we complain about it?, it will only improve with constructive criticism!
Who is the manager?

I did ask the girl at the club shop when I phoned this afternoon if they received many complaints about the online store. She said, many ! I’m thinking of email Mr Varney if I don’t hear that it’s on the way by Friday.

I’d accept that were it Boots or M&S, I can’t think why have 2 different departments for what is a small number of niche items (compared to multi branch places like Boots M&S etc).

Yeah this is frustrating, can't take returns back yourself as they dont handle them at the club shop but at the distribution centre or something like that.
Quote annoying.
Also believe something can be in stock in the club shop but not online.

It will be the last time I buy online. Looked today and still with them not out for delivery that’s 6 days after they said it’s in its way. ?

The one time I have been in, I literally couldn’t get out for a while and was nearly having a panic attack. I hastily bought something for my daughter and eventually got out. Never been back.

Update from a very pissed off fan. I’ve just phoned the club shop who helpfully have checked my online order. They tell me it’ll be out for delivery on the 26th this 6 days after receiving an email saying it’s on its way and ordered on the 5th. I asked to speak to the retail manager who’s amazingly is not available ! Does anyone have his direct number or a number of someone at the club who can deal with this. I’ve bought a £95 shirt and expect better service. My advice on this experience is DONT BUY ONLINE FROM BRENTFORD !

Looks like it's going to be a section in the
Co-op next to the bakery.
From Facebook:

“Spoke to a lady the other day. They are opening a shop by the co op for shirts, scarves etc but they’re keeping the superstore as a retail one as well.
New store should be open in Sep she said as they’ve only just got the keys.

Saw a bit of the inside walking past, looks pretty much ready to go so assume will be open for the Moenchengladbach friendly.

They were using that as an overflow for the superstore. Had a lot of the reduced items in there as well.

From Friday, the existing Bees Superstore will only be open on matchdays.
