Half - time 1-0 - let's hope we can get it together in the second half.

Love Charlie to bits but he must be tired after Tues and haven't heard a word of him tonight. I'd try Forster with Alexander before bringing Cort on.

I'd be happy with that too, just think we need something different or we tend to just get stuck in a rut!

And you know this how?

If I told you, I would have to kill you. ;)

And the results over the past month and a half don't exactly disprove the theory. Nearly a dozen games played this season, and apart from Cheltenham in the cup, they have all gone according to the same theme.

we could be bottom tomorrow night :(

In two weeks we'll be through a quarter of the season. If Scott is going to sort it out he'd better get a move on.

With MacDonald, I think it's easy sometimes to confuse effort for quality.

He's like all strikers, needs decent service, knock-downs etc.. Is he getting much of this at the moment?

Bees v Orient...updates

Hmmm. Well. What can you say really? It's a fairly typical Brentford week: giant killing Tuesday, 1-0 down to Orient on Friday.

rarely listen to the commentary as mostly at the games these days, but back to it again today.

late on in the first half, a minute apart from each 'incident', he has pissed me off...

firstly, when were we in Division C? and then saying kevs name for long time making me believe we'd equalised!!!! tut tut... no nice...

Bees v Orient...updates

We'll probably lose tonight, and then thrash them in the JPT

Sorry but I'm of the opinion that if you told me, you'd have to lie.

And I am of the opinion that over 12 games - that three of four wins being against Wednesday, Hull and Everton, defeats against Walsall, Rochdale and possibly Orient, a dire draw with Hartlepool - suggests to me that 11 people are basically taking the piss out of the gaffer every week.

No changes for Bees

yes, has missed chances in every match so far.

So you don't know, you're just speculating. Opinions fine but you appeared to be passing it off as fact. I would suspect that you know about as much as I do.

Forget the cup game, we beat a poor off form Everton team, we didn't kill a giant. All that did was convince some people that Scott know's what he's doing.....not me :nono:

If we are honest we knew this would happen. AS's team selection completely continues to baffle me.

If Saunders has been dropped i would be straight in his AS's office to tell him to stick it up his arrogant arse and demand a move.

Would anyone be that bothered if Saunders left. He's not really good enough is he?

does anyone know why Richard Lee has been dropped?
not that it sounds like Hamer has done anything particularly wrong tonight, just can't work this out...

oh please, do behave, it was a giantkilling. Premiership players are in a totally different class nowadays.

This was a perfect opportunity to rest some players, but AS hasn't taken it. I'm really surprised. O's have been idle all week and our boys have played 120mins plus pens. I don't get it.

Because Hamer has to play or Reading will want him back. The problem is Scott announced Richard Lee was our number on keeper and becuase he had a poor game against Fulham he got dropped. Scott has a poor track record with signing keepers, e'g Price and Bull.....

unbelievable decision to leave Lee out.
He must be thinking what do I have to do.
From what I have seen and heard from Watford fans he is a very good keeper.
If I was him I would want away now.
I bet he is fuming sitting on the bench and rightly so

is someone going to get sent off?

Third booking for Orient (Dawson)

Yellow also for Spillane.

From the three or so pages of this thread I have read, all the chances have been from us.

Does seem a straight decision he has a blinder against quality opposition regardless of their position and gets dropped I honestly dont see how he is going to get back into the side and get a run of games.

?

Well send Hammer back then.
Do we need 2 top keepers.
Dont think so:nono:

Fair enough if you felt mislead, and I'm sorry for that, but I did explain my reasoning (however justifiable or not you may think it is) in my first post on the issue, regarding the link between glorious opposition and results.

what is this Richard Lee love in all about. So good at Watford that he spend most of his ****ing career their on the bench !! If he had maybe got of his idle arse and moved on 5 years ago, then he may have some say in the matter.

Off form or not, they have been in the Premiership since the get go, are a huge club compared to us with incredible resources and obviously took it seriously from the team they put out. However temporary, we punched well above our weight on Tuesday. Unfortunately, it seems to the curse of successive Brentford teams to be incapable of consistently setting the performance bar and allow the opposition to set the level of the game. Not all the time but often enough to be bloody annoying.
