I was just on a live stream with Newcastle fanzine and they all know about Benjamin Fredericks as apparently a scout - Antonio Mango, I know it sounds a made up name! - had been on an earlier show and said he’s the best prospect he has seen recently and that Newcastle should go for him. Clearly we got in there first. An unbelievably good player apparently. I had to admit I didn’t know much about him….

Yes, Arthur, Frederick, and Kim all highly rated, plus Crama who is doing well at Bristol Rovers. Presiding over them is the daddy of them all at the grand old age of 22, Nathan Collins. This looks like a key part of a future first team squad, the futures looking good.

Difficult to imagine, growing up in Nigeria then at just 18 finding yourself on a different continent, away from everything you grew up with. Not easy for these young lads, even those that are from the UK but different parts of the country.

Indeed, plus it's good now being at the summit, so there's no chance of "might've broken in had we stayed in L1" and "might've broken in had we stayed in the Champ" etc.

Yep another one here who has been impressed by his composure and assurance at the back as well as his ability to break forward. For an 18yr old he seems have the awareness of someone more experienced. Be interesting to see how involved he is with the 1st team pre season.
