Just finished 1 1
A bit disappointing considering I thought we had a pretty strong line up.

There is much debate going on on another thread about whether we should be giving more of our own youngsters a chance in the first team. Those against argue that they are in the development squad to get experience and bring them on there. So why do I look on the official site and see that the development squad only playing 2 games between December 20 and March 13? What use is 2 games in nearly 3 months? Or have I missed something?
I believe more games were scheduled buy were called off due to weather

Apologies if this has already been asked but...
why on earth is the Development squad game v West Ham behind closed doors? Is this a carry over from West Hams naughtiness in Spain years ago???? Seriously though, anyone know why it's behind closed doors?
Liam Bellamy signs on loan at Ebsfleet for a month.
he is 20 ----- and hasn't had much of a sniff at our first team, like several others. youngsters from other clubs have been borrowed and thrown-in the deep end.
i don't know what is going on but it doesn't make much sense to me.

Very strong lineup again vs West Ham who have Ravel Morrison Playing for them
Lee
Griffths Osborne Pierre Woodman
Oyeleke Reeves Blake
Forrster
Weston German
2-0 Morrison again
Looks like a strong line up to me.............
Jake Reeves was our best player today, quite a scrappy game neither team good properly get hold of, lots of competitive tackles going in. Karliegh leaded the defence well, was a good partner for young Pierre, was always talking to him. Lee very vocal and had a solid game, Morrison went through one on one with him, tried to round him but Lee got a hand to it, I thought the danger was gone but somehow the ball ended up at Morrisons feet and he had an open goal. Opening minute Weston hastled his marker and got onto a long ball from Osborne, put in a great drilled cross for German who hit the bar on the half volley. Forrester was lively, always wanted the ball. Good finish from Morrison for second goal. German did well holding the ball up and won every ball lumped up to him. But yeah overall a good game, Reeves looked stronger, made some good tackles and was always available for a pass. When he got the ball everytime his head was up and he was looking to pass and move. Hope he can make his way back into the first team

Niggly injuries have hampered Jake Reeves this season. I'm sure we'll see him in the last few games once the play offs are out of reach. I think he'll come good next season. A good footballer.
