Staring at a South Western Railway live departure board, for my trip home today, I've just realised what's nailed on to happen, now my points are going to be dicier next year.
Train for this match will be cancelled with 10 minutes notice won't it.
When I'm halfway through a can at Waterloo, wondering how the fl*ck to get to Bournemouth in time for the match.
Has anyone ever tried claiming the cost back for a taxi, to get somewhere on time, if a train is cancelled and you've got an important meeting (football match)?

You can only get a Taxi if it's the last Train or they authorise you to do so (line closed, no alternative, no replacement busses).
