That 700 is a hell of a journey.

Does it still go all the way to Portsmouth?
Got back to Brighton fine, but they cancelled two buses so long wait,
also a road closure made if worse. The bus I was on terminated at Littlehampton.
Shame we couldn’t hold on for a win, but I’d have taken a point before the game.
????

I guess older fans, who used to have easier journey by train to Hove and carried on following them after moved to Falmer?
I don't quite see your point there...I was talking about the amount of BRENTFORD fans who were on the Southampton train, many of whom alighted in and around the Southampton area as well as various stops along the way.

Sorry, thought you said fans generally, but I guess there were quite a few of Brighton, not just of Brentford

Walking back to Falmer Station, some Brighton fan was barging into bees fans including myself, " f*** home now you've had your day out " his passi g comment. Must still think it's Palace v brighton
Some home fans forget to turn on the charm and "you're such a nice club" shtick when we don't roll over and let them win a home game.

A old guy on the shuttle bus back from Man City v Bees saw my shirt and asked me how much we'd paid the referee that day. I just laughed. (Other fans were much more generous)

In the old days of visits to the likes of burnden park, Ashton gate, St Andrews, Victoria ground etc etc etc it was a punch in the face instead….much nicer thesedays ????

I didn’t see it as I was walking ahead, but my son said a bloke barged into him and gave him a little dig at the same time! .. If deliberate then that’s a bit sly & cheap to do that ?

Drive was fine but a long walk from the driveway I parked on.

Didn't realise their policy on bags so was directed to a little cabin where they would look after my bag for £5 (charity though). Queued for 15 minutes and then their CC machine ran out of charge just as I reached the front...they said they'd managed to run out of room also.

So the entire queue was let in with their bags.

Must have been a serious security threat. Surprised the match wasn't abandoned.
