City: Phillips; Smith, Coles, Butler, Hill; Murray, Doherty, Wilkshire, Tinnion; Roberts, Lita.
Subs: Heffernan, Miller, Woodman, Orr, Gillespie.

Brentford: Nelson; Dobson, Turner, Fitzgerald, Sodje; Somner, O'Connor, Hargreaves, Frampton; Burton, Rankin.
Subs: Myers, Talbot, Rhodes, Salako, Julian.

Seems a very defence line up...surprising especially as Bristol are struggling.

Not so sure about Somner. Hasn't trained with us for a bit. Hope he isn't in midfield.

Bristol Updates

No Jay Smith either. Maybe they didn't put their names on the paper for Bristol!

Bristol Updates

Bizarre, we appear to be playing with 4 centre backs, 5 if you include Frampton..

I thought Somner was out of favour? Be interesting to see who plays where. Maybe Sodje's in midfield he certainly seems to have the technique for it (something Somner doesn't)

Great bench though!!! Where's Tabby?

we are paying hunts wages and he cant get in a team like that

Give it up:zzzzz:

Bristol Updates

Martin did say a couple of players had picked up knocks on Saturday, maybe Tabb was one of those?

Bristol Updates

Taking guesses on the formation now. Wing backs with Somner and O'Connor in centre midfield seems the favourite. Any other theories?

Bristol Updates

Tabb either rested or is injured said Mark

Bristol Updates

COME on you BEES.......

Bristol Updates

First corner for City

Bristol Updates

Seems an odd line up to me. If Downes had fielded a side with 6 defenders everyone would have been going spare!

Gazza makes his Boston debutlol

Perhaps he is worried about the forthcoming election to the board?

Not Chapman, the other one. Has Chapman slipped some sleeping tablets in his tea?

Bristol Updates

Attention seeking - that's all. Ignore him.

Marky does sound knackered...

Bristol Updates

**** poor marking from a corner. City 1-0 up. Luke Wilkshire

Bristol Updates

I got Bees World working, as soon as I turned on, I heard City score. Argh...

Come on you Bees!

Bristol Updates

Can't understand changing the formation and defence after a good performance on Sat, very strange....

Bristol Updates

As soon as City scored i lot sound, the britol site seams to be working though

Bristol Updates

Surely it would have made more sense to put out an attacking side in an attempt to get a lead and then go defensive. What’s the point of staying back all match going a couple of goals down and then sticking on all the attacking players?

Bristol Updates

totally agree.

this is what we did against Ipswich. If we had gone for it at the start I really think we could have beaten them. It's much better to defender a lead rather than send on players to chase a game against a side defending a lead at home.

managers eh? who'd have 'em!
