I wouldn't say people get upset, but If I had a season ticket for the Brook Road, I would feel a bit uncomfortable in having to pass bucket sellers at every home game.

I know this is a whole new topic but  is right, it feels like Bees United is a continual drain on supporters pockets sometimes.
There are bucket collectors on every exit except the Ealing Road..........I'll admit I felt a bit guilty chucking only 50p in on Saturday at the same time as one old boy who was pouring out his two weeks worth of loose change in.
I'm not entirely sure how much longer the bucket collections will be effective and maybe it's time to call it a day.
I agree - this is no slight on those that lend their spare time but I feel the image and impression of Bees United needs to be upped.
Failing that, there needs to be an aim, perhaps repayment of the loan taken out by the Trust to help finance the takeover.

The only time I get upset is when people abuse me for doing it.![]()
They're brave then!
Perhaps we should also think about why it goes to the players' fund. After all - that's going straight in a player's personal pocket and not reducing the debt.
Seen as we are over budget I don't see why I should bail Leroy out.

I assume people feel embarrased because they have a conscience, not much time needs to spent working out that one.
I have nothing but respect for those who stand out there with their buckets, and normally put something in on my way into Brook Rd, but on the way out on Saturday, they did seem particularly 'in your face'... perhaps it was just that I wanted to get to the pub and saw everyone in my way as unwelcome
Did we?![]()
Apologies for that! Perhaps its cos we all wanted to get to the pub too!

Supplying Bournemouth with names certainly has not made me any more likely to put money in buckets

I certainly don't think we should scrap the buckets if they are raising around fifteen grand per season.
I also didn't realise how much was taken in the buckets - it seems quite a respectable amount to me. Big thanks who give their time to shaking them.
